As others have said make sure it’s the right size. My cable was the smaller size so these ended up being loose

A good thing to have, just wish I didn't have to buy 6. That's a life time supply.

These connectors were easy to install without a special crimp tool. It was a good fit for the cable sheath/jacket. I cut a few inches off the cable to dispose of corroded wire that had been exposed to the elements, trimmed the end and folded back the braided shield and screwed this right on, making sure there are no shield strands touching the center conductor. I also used a bit of silicone dielectric grease inside the connection to help keep moisture from wicking up inside the cable insulation.Very satisfied with these.

i thought they were compression fittings, but they aren't. they are screw on type and in my judgment not as good as the compression
