Xmas feel good with steam
I loved the setting of NYC it’s always a great backdrop to a story.Aidan is a quirky, caring character who sees the best in people and gives people a second chance.Stella is a woman looking for a new life and needs to prove herself and give herself the chance of a good life.I liked the theme of not writing off those who may have made mistakes in their lives. There is spicy scenes but steamy rather than spicy.A bit of a Xmas, feel good book with themes that are not really included in many romance books.⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

If you like hallmark films, read this
A quick Christmas read that was like watching a hallmark film with a little spice thrown in. Aiden and his bow ties, Stella and her bangs.Did I love it? No, but I wasn't terrible neither. Will I remember it next year? Doubtful. Was I wanting more? Definitely

Not my favourite Tessa Bailey
Oh I do adore Tessa Bailey. And yes this might be a Christmas book but I had to read it now. The cover is beautiful and it's a nice short read at 250 pages. This book follows Stella and Aiden, is dual perspective and grumpy/sunshine but not your usual trope where the guy is the grump; Stella is the grump in this instead and I LOVED that. For such a small book there was a decent amount of hot smutty smut. And it's always that much hotter when it's boss and employee right?Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed this book, it just felt unfinished to me. And not in a cute cliffhanger way. It was so rushed and definitely could have been less instalove/instalust if it had been a little longer. The Nicole storyline was barely even there. Not my favourite Tessa Bailey but definitely won't be my last.

Great book but slow in parts.
Great easy, feel good read. Started off strong but at times felt a little slow. Ending was a nice touch.

Totally recommend
Two weeks before Christmas and all through Manhattan, shop windows are decorated in red and green satin. I'm standing alone in front of the famous Vivant department store, when a charming man named Aiden asks my opinion of the décor. It's a tragedy in tinsel, I say, unable to lie. He asks for a better idea with a twinkle in his eye. Did I know he owned the place? No. He put me on the spot. Now I'm working for that man, trying to ignore that he's hot. But as a down on her luck girl with a difficult past, I know an opportunity when I see one and I have to make it last.Really enjoyable read totally recommend

Overall good if a bit predictable
I did like this book but i wouldn’t say it was one of Bailey’s stronger pieces. The first thing that put me off was the fact the blurb was in poetry. Poetry is a bit generous. The characters were slightly tedious and predictable. Good but wouldn’t recommend to readers of Colleen Hoover or anyone who has read any other of Bailey’s novels.

Steamy festive romance 💜
Title: Window ShoppingAuthor: Tessa BaileyHero/Heroine: Aiden & StellaTrope: Reverse Grumpy x SunshineTHE GOOD 😀Two words. Aiden Cook. Man alive, can that man rock a bow tie, I think I fell in love within the first chapter. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate a broody alpha male, however Aiden and his sunshine-y disposition gave me all the feels. So positive and upbeat, I adored his sense of humour and his naturally caring nature. He and Stella were an all round stunning couple and I couldn’t get enough of them.Even though Stella was meant to be the grump in this situation, I didn’t get that vibe from her. Released from a correctional facility and determined to make a fresh start, all she wanted was to find her place in the world and start rebuilding her life. The one aspect I loved the most about her character was how she wanted to be her own hero, she didn’t want Aiden to swoop in and save her, she wanted to be able to stand on her own two feet and do that herself. The chemistry between these two wonderful characters was off the charts, I never knew that people used filing rooms for things other than filing…I also have to give special mention to Jordyn; she was such a great friend and a massive support to Stella, I loved how she constantly had her back.Another fabulous read from Tessa Bailey, I literally didn’t want this book to end.THE BAD ☹️Bradley and Shirley. Someone seriously needs to roundhouse kick these pair of knobheads in the chest.OVERALL THOUGHTS: A wonderfully heartwarming and festive readSTEAM LEVEL: 🔥🔥🔥STAR RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
