Was this lipstick manufactured in 2012? Or is it a new one?

I am not sure how one would determine when the lipstick was manufactured, but it looked new to me. I would think a seven-year-old lipstick would look like it had some age to it. Hope this helps! I might add this is one of the nicer lipsticks I have ever used.
