Excellent Flavorful Teas
I've been drinking tea for a long time, and I love fresh mint tea.....but in the winter, its hard to find fresh mint so I've been trying, up to now unsuccessfully, to find a full bodied mint tea. I have finally found one that I enjoy and would buy again. I'm not a fan of regular green tea, but I do enjoy gunpowder green tea. However, the last few times I bought it in the store, I was not happy with the "extra" stuff I found in the tea.....so when I found this company, that sold organic gunpowder green tea, I decided to try it, along with their organic mint green tea, since it was made with their gunpowder green tea.I have found both teas to be full bodied and excellent teas. The mint tea is made with two different kinds of mint and it is not "wimpy". Its full of refreshing natural mint flavor. The gunpowder tea in it gives it an extra kick and body. I steep my tea, for a full 6 minutes, not the recommended 3-5 minutes, and I make sure my water is boiling when I put into the hot tea pot.The teas come very well packaged, which I think is extremely important with tea, to retain flavor and both packages have an almost 2 year expiration date.I would highly recommend both teas, the gunpowder green tea, and the mint tea.

Organic mint tea with benefits
The minute I received the mint tea I opened it and the aroma that escaped the bag made me want to try it immediately. I couldn’t wait! It must be because of the organic spearmint and peppermint leaves, along with the green tea. The result is a rich infusion, strong but not too bold, and very tasty. This is by far the most refreshing tea I’ve had.I like to make a full pot, so I can keep enjoying it throughout the day. I like it hot or iced, it tastes great both ways. I like the taste it leaves in my mouth, very refreshing and yummy.I read that mint tea can help with digestion, a bloated tummy and stomach ache, but luckily I didn’t get to try this mint tea for these purposes. I’ll keep that in mind if it ever happens to me.The Tea Company keeps amazing me with their loose leaf tea blends. So much better than traditional tea bags, it’s a whole different world!

Great taste and lasts long
This is a great tea. The first steeping is phenomenal and has the taste and effect I was looking for, especially for a coffee replacement. But, the best is the second steeping. I don't know how to describe it, but it just hits all the right notes for me. It's strong, but not bitter. It's tasty without leaving a bad taste in your mouth. It's floral aroma is ever-present but not overwhelming. If you are a black coffee drinker, you know where I come from in this comparison. If you want your tea a tad on the sweet side, you need only add maybe a fifth of what you would normally put in. Anything more would ruin the taste of this tea and hide the essence of this tea. Don't take my word for it, try it!

Good green tea but second bag weaker
The first bag I bought had a deep flavor and color and was great. I really loved it. I left it with my daughter in NY, as it is a green tea she will drink when sick, which is rare, as she does not like green tea. I rate the first bag a 5. I purchased another bag upon my return home, but it just isn't as good. I am brewing exactly the same way, but the color and the flavor are not nearly as deep. I have even tried using a little more tea leaf but still can't obtain the same flavor as the first batch I received. I don't know if it is a difference in the tea leaves used for this batch, but I can only rate this second bag a 3; therefore, the 4 star rating.

Great product - expensive per packet but good value on a per cup basis.
I first drank Green tea, fresh, in Vietnam when I worked there a few years ago, and I loved it. This tea is the closest I have found outside Vietnam to that original taste. It’s absolutely delicious. It’s not cheap on a per- packet basis but one packet goes a long way - you don’t need much tea to make a cup and the leaves can be used twice. I also love the lack of teabags, which in many cases are plastic and horrible both for the tea drinker and the environment. I make tea in one of those Teavana pots that sit over the cup and drain through the bottom and it works really well. I highly recommend this product.

A small amount goes a long way : )
I bought this for my boyfriend since he drinks green tea almost daily. We try to reduce the amount that goes in the trash (he use to use disposable tea bags) so I bought him some loose leaf tea to try. So far he says it tastes good! And it allows you to control how strong or mild you’d like your tea. We haven’t had it long enough yet to see if it will really last us 60 cups but a teaspoon is enough for a cup of tea. At first I thought it seemed like too little but we didn’t realize how much the leafs actually expand in the hot water (when dry they’re rolled up like little balls). The packaging is a plastic bag. An aluminum or glass container would at least be recyclable (plastic gets downcycled into lower quality plastic unlike glass or aluminum which are continuously recycleable) but I’m no tea expert and perhaps that wouldn’t keep it fresh enough. So far we’ve had a good experience : )

Great Tea!
Such a great flavor. Just started getting into looseleaf tea. So much cheaper than constantly getting boxed Tea and better for the environment!

Product not as pictured or described
I wouldn't have ordered the product had the company posted a picture of the real product within the bag. As you can see the real tea leaves do not look anything like was is advertised. The tea has a stong mint smell when the bag is opened, however you do not smell or taste the mint once tea is steeped. I drink mint tea alot, the tea leaves I usually get are vivid green and the tea has mint smell and flavor after being steeped. Returning this product.
