Excellent Flavor
We cook beans a lot at our house and this spice makes it so easy to have a flavorful batch. No thinking about what all to add. Just a few cap fulls to the pot and you’re on your way. Have been using it for years and there is always an unopened bottle waiting in the wings. We always keep it on hand.

GREAT!!!
I’ve purchased this spice for years and I always get compliments on my beans and as long as it’s accessible I’ll buy it. And I like the larger container, as I use it often. Very satisfied!

They're Not Pinto Beans Without Fiesta
We’ve occasionally come across someone’s pinto beans that come close, but we’ve never had pinto beans as good as these. They are so simple to put together, and they are amazing. The key is the Fiesta Pinto Bean Seasoning. This big batch can be split into screw-top plastic containers and frozen. Fill containers a bit shy and top off with extra potlikker. Figure about 8 ounces of container volume per person per meal.Yield: 4 1/2 quarts 1 2 pound bag dried pinto beans, sorted, rinsed to remove dirt and rocks (reserve 1/2 pound) 1 10 ounce can diced tomatoes and green chiles, (recommended: Ro-Tel) ⅔ cup Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Pinto Bean Seasoning) 1 onion, medium, chopped 3 cloves garlic, chopped 2 teaspoons kosher salt ½ teaspoon black pepper 4 slices bacon, cut into 2 inch pieces1. Rinse beans well in a colander, sort to remove anything that’s not a bean, and then let soak in water 2 to 3 hours or overnight.2. Drain beans and add 1-1/2 pounds of them to a large soup pot or Dutch Oven, holding out the remaining 1/2 pound of the beans from the beginning of the cook. These will be added after the first batch has been cooking 45 minutes. These beans will be less done than the rest, and will give a bite to the finished beans.3. Add the rest of the ingredients. Add enough water to cover all plus about 1-1/2 inches. (Will be about a 1 inch cover after adding in the held out beans.)4. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally. Skim any scum that floats to the top during the initial boil. Cover.5. Add the reserved beans after 45 minutes, cover, and continue simmering, stirring occasionally and checking the level until beans have reached desired doneness. Total cooking time should be around 2 to 2-1/2 hours, so begin checking at about 2 hours.
