Stopped the rats
My neighbourhood has been having massive problems with rodents due to a massive new housing development going up in a nearby field. I bought only one baffle for an outbuilding because they are pricey, but I put it up on the house when the rats started going up a drainpipe. The baffle stopped that. I bodged together some other emergency baffles and they weren't as effective. In response to another reviewer, it is not unfair that these come from a pack of 10. The company that supplies the 10 pack does not sell to members of the public. Also, it would not be easy to make them yourself in a hurry. I wanted them in translucent white, so I priced it up: it looks like you can get the right plastic on Amazon, but it arrives from China in a couple of months!

Does what you expect
Very easy to fit. Tie onto retaining bracket to prevent it blowing away in high winds. Doubt if any rat could manoeuvre its way up a drainpipe with this in place

Worked for a while, then mice found alternative route.
Definately stopped the mice getting in roof void via main entry point on neighbour's conservatory but alas, they found new routes in eventually, so ensure to do all drain pipes.

Overpriced
On opening we soon realised that this was taken from a pack of ten and re bundled as a pack of 2. Very expensive for what is basically a plastic circle tied in with cable ties. Does the job but so would a DIY job
