A Good Small Guitar
I was quite pleased when the guitar arrived with no defects and reasonably low action. The only thing I had to do upon receipt was tune it up. It does not have a full deep warm tone like a dreadnaught, but that is to be expected with a small guitar. If you are of small stature, you will appreciate the small body size. The slightly arched back also makes the guitar comfortable to hold. I have not played the Martin D Junior or Taylor Mini but I believe that they are very similar.

Impressed
Been playing for 20 years. I have owned Taylor, Martin, Ibanez, Yamaha, etc. I personally own a Taylor GS Mini Koa-E Plus (the best travel/home guitar), however it's a 1000$. I bought this for my niece who is learning to play. I wanted a balance between quality and affordability. Now after having it, I am so impressed. It outperforms for it's price and with a change to some MEDIUM strings , really brings out the sound.

great guitar with great sound
excellent guitar bunch of steps up from my beginning staff, frets demonstrable and many noticeable output-features that have been put on, the sound is authentic and truly halts the experience, but still has that noticeable band-hall feel, I should have gone upward in price to escape that and go more into the wood-works guitaring almost a toy story parchment like presentation plus amazons wanton to charging my card, expect a 1 star in that department, didn't come across as an authentic guitar but glad to see its hear after slow shipping response.this seller comes across as pocketed and im slightly sure i would purchase again

Inpect it immediately
The playability of Guild is what I expected. I've owned a bigger, better Guild for years, and love and trust it. For the price, this foreign cousin is very adequate. It's a very good starter-learner/take-camping-where-there-is-a-lot-of-beer junior guitar. However, upon inspection right out of the box, I found a fairly deep 2-inch gouge in the finish on the fine spruce top There was no damage to the shipping container or packaging, so it must have been there when it was packaged - which reminds me, I assumed it came with a gig bag as they usually do, but that's what I get for assuming. I thought about sending it back, but since it's not a crack and I mostly like little junior - I think I'll just keep it. We have become friends; Caveat emptor. Correction. we did find some damage to he box, it was not immediately apparent.
