WU YANG BRAND - Pain Relieving Medicated Plaster (Box, 10 Plasters)

The patches provide relief for at least 2 hours. They are nearly odorless when they're on, stay in place even when wet, yet they're easy to peel off.

Ok, I have been using these medicated plasters for 10+ years. Nothing I’ve ever tried has been even close to as good. So when they updated the patches I was very skeptical and honestly pretty upset about it. But I was wrong. After trying them out for a few weeks I am happy to say that I love the new version.The new patches have the same smell but are smaller and thinner. The smaller size is helpful because I did cut the old ones to size and now that’s a step I can skip. I reached out to the company and was told the quantity of herbs has been increased and I do think you can feel that change when wearing the patch. The new patches are as effective as before, possibly more.The best change, however, is the lack of residue after wearing the new patches. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the packaging. Resealable packs would be so nice. The old ones would dry out over time and my assumption is the new version might as well.Overall I give these patches and this product update an A+

These came highly recommended by my PT for muscle aches due to injury or overdoing it. I'm allergic to them but my skin tolerates the short term that I need to wear it (maybe a day or two). I definitely recommend a patch test with a small piece if you're allergic to latex or trying for the first time. I hold nothing against the product for my body's own personal response, though, and still recommend them!The smell reminds me of bengay - in a good way! It remains potent for about 3-5 hours, so keep that in mind if you're prone to headaches or other scent triggers.The sensation on the area reminds me of prepping fresh ginger. There's tingling and warmth (edging on burning), and yet there's also coolness. It should NOT hurt though!I hope this helps shed some light on the product for anyone curious.

My daughter is an acupuncturist and I told her the prescription lidocaine patches weren’t working for me. She gave me some of these and they really work for me. I have degenerative discs in my neck causing terrible nerve pain. These really help. They adhere very strongly so if you have sensitive skin be careful removing, maybe soak them off in the shower. I wouldn’t recommend for elderly skin that tears easily.

I love these patches because they are much more "natural" than lidocane patches. The Wu Yangs have a very strong odor that I quickly got used to and is now almost soothing to me. Also, they REALLY adhere so you need to know exactly where you want it on your body. If you bend in a side or corner it is difficult if not impossible to correct without ruining the patch. You need to remove them after 7 or 8 hours or they are painful to remove. I do still use 4% lidocane patches when my pain is more severe but I don't use them with any regularity which is why I prefer the Wu Yangs and use them frequently.
