I own several knife , German and Japanese and I must say Zwilling did an awesome job on this knife ( I have the 3.5" version) . I doubt its entirely handmade . I treated the handle with Boos block board cream + Mystery oil so it stay nice so its somewhat sealed .Out of the box , knife had the sharpest edge ive seen and its a pleasure to work with

Coltello perfetto. Posseggo già uno dei fratelli maggiori. Molto bello alla vista e favoloso nel taglio. Ben bilanciato ed estremamente leggero, più di quello che si possa pensare. Un rasoio ovviamente.

Optisch nicht schön
Der Übergang zwischen Klinge und Griff ist unschön gestaltet. Es ist ein unverhältnismäßig großer Bereich mit breiter Schweißnaht ohne Damaststruktur. Schade um das Messer.

Un couteau damassé qui ne s'émoussera pas si l'on ne fait pas n'importe quoi, très pratique dans les usages quotidiens, sans talon (heureusement) pour qu'on puisse le tenir parfois par la lame, et au manche léger, qui ne déséquilibre pas la tenue à ce moment. Excellent. Indispensable !Comme pour tout damas, éviter les aliments acides (les fruits), de peur d'effacer le motif (mais pas d'altérer le tranchant). Ce qui n'empêche pas son usage quotidien.
