These tension rods worked perfectly for me in replacing some really old and stripped tension rods I have on my vintage slingerland kit. So glad to have upgraded the old ones!

Fits older Yamaha rack-tom just fine
Was a little concerned that the 1-3/8" tension rods would be too short for an older nineties-era Yamaha Stage Custom 12" rack tom, the era with the square badge, pre-Yess-mount where the mounting bracket bolts right to the shell, but they were quickest to ship. Fortunately they seem just right, approximately eight turns into the existing lugs. Certainly good enough to replace the two missing tension rods on the used drum.
