Amazing Quality Mic
My use for this mic is, voice chat, singing, recording instruments.Voice: This mic has a classic warm tone, very clear, I've had this Mic for 3 day, everybody can hear the clarity an bass in my voice extremely clear. Also it is an XLR mic, so it does require phantom power. Me personally I recommend the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen, if you only have a mic to connect to your PC. I got this $400 mic on sale for $180 Used - Like New, the value for my money is perfect. honestly for the price, this mic punches WAY above its weight, you can record instruments, vocals, podcast, ect. The Mic was in perfect condition, build quality of the mic is Excellent, it has a good weight & size to it so you will definitely need a good boom arm. I use the Blue boom arm.

The Blue Baby Bottle is an absolute gem.
The Blue Baby Bottle is an absolute gem. The sound is rich, warm, and detailed—perfect for vocals, acoustic instruments, and even voiceovers. It brings a professional polish to anything I record. It’s become one of my go-to choices in the mic locker—reliable, versatile, and always delivers a clean, balanced tone. Build quality is solid too. Easily one of the best investments I’ve made for my studio.

economical but professional microphones
These are well made, economical but professional microphones. Low noise floor and good output. They also look cool.

I love this mic. I use it occasionally for recording but regularly for Zoom calls and it is wonderful.

A nice Mic to Own
The media could not be loaded. If I only get one Mic to own and my budget is $200 and under, I have no doubt I will get this mic in no timeIt sounds good for multipurpose, I have owned so many other mics over the last 25 years at higher prices, but this one is simple yet sounds pro like others of higher priceI'm not driven by hype or even the reviews of those who follow the HYPE, this mic is not hype and is not perfect but at that price, NOTHING is an equal or better period

Does what it needs to
Good darker sounding condenser mic. My only complaint is that the switches feel extremely cheap. Everything else on the mic feels high quality. The mic is also very heavy.I’ve recorded saxophone and voice on it so far. For alto sax, it sounds great. Very clear and the high ends are not piercing. Soprano sax sounds okay on it. I would need to do more work with that to dial in a better sound. I’m sure it works well for all woodwinds, I would just experiment with placement. For male voice, it’s good. I would recommend speaking or singing at an angle and with a pop filter because it can be a bit boomy up close. With good mic technique and eq, it’s fantastic.

Broken On Arrival (UPDATE)
(UPDATE: 08/30/2022)I ended up getting a refund through Amazon (which I have still not received and it seems like they have no idea what's happening with the order, so fun) and bought a new mic through Blue's website. It got here faster than the one I ordered through Amazon, I paid less, and the one I got actually works properly and has the expected build quality of a $400 microphone. I am 100% confident that Amazon sent me a totally used/refurb mic and didn't pay attention to that. Total incompetence. Amazon has not compensated me for this experience in any way other than offering a refund (which has also been a struggle) so I'm leaving this review at a one star, but it is NOT the manufacturers fault. My new microphone is the best microphone I've ever had and sounds amazing, and this is a great product, but Amazon just cannot deliver on certain things and apparently this is one of them.(08/22/2022)The microphone itself was damaged on arrival. I the body of the microphone was loose and there was something broken on the internals of the microphone that you could hear rattling around on the inside of the microphone. This was all things that I noticed literally 3 seconds after the microphone was out of its packaging. Keep in mind for the rest of these discoveries I bought the microphone BRAND NEW!Against my better judgement I took the shock mount out of the package and put it on my boom arm and proceeded to set everything up and... The mic worked. The mic sounded good and everything so I continued to use it for the next 4 or so hours, until I noticed that the capsule itself was rotated around, which to my knowledge, is not something that is supposed to happen. At this point I was already certain I would have to get a refund or a replacement so after I noticed this, I started the process. It only goes downhill from here of course. While putting the microphone and the shockmount and everything back in the box, I noticed that there were a bunch of stickers on the box that were peeling, and on one side it was taped on. I peeled it off and saw a bunch of faded print underneath and damage to the box itself. After all of this, I have come to the conclusion that I received a refurbished or heavily used product when I purchased a new one. I brought this to Amazon Customer Support's knowledge and they said that they cannot send me a new one, they can only give me a refund. Which, at least they were able to give me a refund (still going through that process as of writing this review) but I wanted a replacement sent, because as I said before, I do like this microphone a lot. I contacted Blue Customer Support about this and was never given a response. So I am a little concerned about what is going on with this order.I am going to purchase another microphone after I get my refund, and if that one arrives in a similar condition as the previous microphone, the review shall stay the same and I'll never touch any other blue product with a six foot pole, as well as some serious phone calls being made to Amazon's (so far) lack luster Support team. However If I finally get the microphone that I was promised the first time I bought one, then I'll review the microphone for what it is.

Can't go wrong
You really can't go wrong with a blue if you're looking for a affordable, low to mid level microphone that doesn't sound like a low to mid level microphone. Are use this Mike, pre-Sonus monitors, and a lightning Focusrite, and I get sound that's just as good (if you know what you're doing) a's a pro studio. If you don't know much about mixing or don't produce, don't know how to use different plug-ins etc.this is still a great "Plug-in and record" microphone.
