My mother used this product when she was frying chicken at her business and I still use it today. Great taste and can be used dry or mixed with water or beer for a beer batter. I hope this product will always be available.

I was looking for Fry Crisp batter mix and couldn't find it, so I thought I would give this a try. This batter mix is very good and so glad I found it. Will definitely be buying this again!

I tried it as batter and didn't like it. I was a little disappointed until I decided to use it as a dry coating. I absolutely loved it this way. I wasn't expecting the bag to be as big as it was. I would only use this as a batter if I'm doing onion rings or fried okra. But on my chicken gizzards as a batter, I wasn't a fan. I would definitely recommend this product and will purchase again. It's not over seasoned which allows you to add to it if you want. Good product.

Wonderful price and was worth the wait.

I have used Drake's batter (frying fish) for several years. Have tried others and they are typically very salty or spicy and take away from the flavor of whatever you are frying. I used diet 7UP or Diet Sprite instead of water or beer. Other than water, any liquid with sugar content will tend to "burn" or overbrown whatever you are frying. Only problem I have had is buying Drake's "on the road". Thanks to Amazon for taking care of that issue!!!
