For Christmas, I gave my husband this paper towel dispenser. I was skeptical about its utility and worried it would be a waste of money but I knew that, if it did what it was supposed to do, my paper towel-obsessed husband would love it. And, he does love it! It works so well and has even cut down on his paper towel usage which is saving us money. Another unexpected benefit has been the roll of paper towels staying dry and clean as it sits on our kitchen counter. We could not be happier with this product and we both were able to figure out how to use it fairly quickly. I highly recommend this as it’s been awesome for our household.

I have the counter top version. I absolutely love it. I'm using VIVA PICK-A-SIZE in mine. You basically train it to what size you want, then the rest goes back inside automatically. Then the next time you want one, it remembers the size and just produces that. The trick is to pull out straight and not down or it will bunch up and you'll have to open it up and fix it. I chose to use batteries instead of plugging it in just so it will be closer to the sink. I absolutely love it and think it's worth the money. My only con is that the original packaging could be better.

I love it even tho it doesn't come with the tub holder thingy you don't need it! I do notice it works better with thicker paper towels and not thin ones.

Got it for my new home, which I will be moving in June, 2018. I tried it out, it works, and I can't wait!

I loved the original one received back in 2004. I had that one for 16 years. Then the bottom of the roller chipped. I have four males in my home and the daily use, removing the roller to add new paper towels just wore it out. So, I purchased a new one. They removed the roller. The paper towels do not roll out correctly now. You have to continue opening the product, pushing the towels back in, and retry the roll. It defeats the purpose. I do not want hands touching the paper towels. that's why I bought the first one. Please bring it back with the roll inside. The new design just does not work. I knew it may not work with all paper towel brands. Viva was a problem because they have some type of sticky feel and so the towels stick to the push mechanism. So, I started buying bounty, which was great. Now, Viva, Bounty, Brawn, it doesn't matter, none roll out as they should. Had I not had such an awesome experience with the original, I may not have purchased a second.

Due to its large size looks somewhat awkward on the counter. Ordered all black but got black/gray. As others had mentioned without the bar it makes it hard to pull out straight sheets.

it works mostly, but you have to train yourself on it's quirks. Also you have to be careful which size paper towels you put in it, which makes sense if you think about it, but before this thing we never had to think "is this roll to thick or will it fit". The sensor works best if you place your hand in front of it and don't move. Sometimes the sensor sees paper towels coming out and shoots out more, but not often. It's really tricky to get it to put out the right size when you're using halve sheet tear-aways, but it can be done. When it forgets what size, it just shoots out too much and you can open it quickly to re-calibrate. Also, thicker towels don't seem to work as well as others. i.e. Brawny towels work well, but Bounty towels seem to jam the machine. All in all, it's worth having around but it's probably not worth the price.
