I’ve decided to write this review today (so far ahead, I know) because I used them literally last week on my birthday and today I realized that I bought these boots soooo long ago since I saw that i made the purchase on my 2021 order history tab while originally looking for some other product on there. With my lengthy history in mind, let me tell you guys how they held up, what I feel about them, and what actually led me to buy them: 1. I was broke. (Price on these boots are stellar) Originally, I REALLY wanted to buy name brand platform boots (such as dolls kill) since a pair I owned at the time that I have thrifted failed me and decided to just detach from the sole. While looking online on the branded websites, I was thinking, “Man. This is expensive.” I was broke af and didn’t think that dropping over a hundo on platforms was good for my wallet and mental well-being. So, I thought that maybe I should just look on desertcart and see what options I had on there. I scrolled so long and read so many reviews on different products that my head was spinning and my eyes ached. I was looking at this product next and really liked the style of the boots. The price was so good and the reviews seemed to be pretty good, so I made the decision to buy these ones. 2. Thoughts upon arrival When I ripped open and completely shredded up that desertcart box once they arrived, I was happy to find that they were sent in good condition and looked exactly like the photo online. I picked them up and was surprised how light they were. Not too light though, but they were not heavy. The chain on it was cute and the laces aren’t janky. Zipper on the sides of the boots weren’t busted or cheap; it opened and closed up smoothly. 3. Wearing them The amount of compliments I got from friends, coworkers, classmates, etc is ASTRONOMICAL. Literally, these boots elevated all my “going out” outfits when I decided to not leave my house looking like I’m decaying and dying inside and out. There’s also a lot of “you look so tall!” comments since I go from like 5”1 to 7” apparently but that’s besides the point. These look real good on you. 4. COMFORTABLE I stated in 3 that I look like I’m decaying usually and it also shows through my clothes. I really dgaf about how I look out the house most days because I love being comfortable. You know what that means— sweats and hoodies. Sometimes I even show up to my job in pajamas like I really don’t care. And that translates the same to my shoes, even if I’m dolled up. So I am SO HAPPY TO REPORT THAT these are COMFORTABLE. Remember I said they were lightweight? Yeah, I wore these bad boys to an 8 hour shift at my retail job once and my feet did not ache at all and it did not feel like I had literal bricks and mercury blocks strapped to my feet. I was literally on my feet for 98% of my shift and still went out afterwards in them. I also used these boots while acting in a music video shoot and I did not have the need to be taking it off during my breaks or in between those long hours of filming. I attached a photo of me in the music video wearing the boots, I think they looked pretty good! 5. Still going on strong Been over 2 years and these things are not messed up. Obviously you gotta take good care of them like you would anything you own (duh) but these survived the club and dancing bars. That has to count for something, alongside working in them at a labor intensive retail job when I’m kicking heavy boxes around and running all over the stockroom and sales floor. I’m also pretty clumsy at times and kick various pieces of furniture beside me. No dents or scratches on the faux leather and most importantly the platform sole hasn’t detached from the shoe body. That’s usually the problem with some platform boots and these ones haven’t failed me yet. Important thing to note is that I don’t wear these things everyday, they lived their prime time during the first year of owning them and then after that I kinda just mellowed out and my days are pretty much college, work, rot in bed, and shopping. So back into the sweats and hoodies I go. Otherwise though, I do use these on dinner/anniversary dates with my boyfriend and special occasions where I’m going out, like my birthday or parties/get togethers. I also used these on Halloween in 2022 when I dressed up as Tiffany Valentine from Chucky. My main point is that if you are on a budget and care about longevity (MEANING YOU ALSO TAKE CARE OF YOUR STUFF), comfortability, style, and looking tall I guess, these are the right pick. I’m also a big advocate to not buying multiple items of stuff you already have (trying to avoid the hyper consumerism) so these are really the only platform booties I own and use to which they held up amazingly. Also sorry for the small amount of dookie photos of the boots I attached to my review. I don’t usually take full outfit pictures of myself that includes my shoes lol but here are some I found of me wearing them throughout the years. Last note I’m adding in on here is to just do not drive in platforms. Ever. I have never done it before but that’s pretty dangerous, so stay safe y’all. Super cute! Looks like the picture. I haven't worn them yet. hoping they will last through the festival I am attending. They do run half a size small. I am usually a 7.5 in everything but I ordered a 8 so I could fit some shoe insoles, but these platforms fit to perfect as a size 8. So, if you are planning on putting insoles in them, go up a full size. Super lightweight!! But they have no arch for the foot and they do feel a little hard to stand on, so an insole would be recommended if wearing and walking for long periods of time. All in all, they are cute, hopefully they hold up!

They’re the cutest and I love them! They’re super easy to put on super easy to walk in and they make me feel taller. I have a lot of needs when it comes to shoes because of physical conditions and these have been absolutely perfect & they get lots of compliments!

Great Daily Boots
Only recently had to replace these after I think... 4? 5? Years? These are my near daily boots when Im not at work and they are super comfortable and have pretty good traction.

Falling Apart After Three Wears
They are extremely lightweight, look nice and fit nice. BUT I wore them literally three times and the bottoms are indeed already separating. I wore them to CVS, an oil change, and grocery store in a car-centric area, so there wasnt a crazy amount of walking involved.

Super cute but arrived with damage
The fit is a little too big but comfortable. The finish is very shiny but fun. I was very disappointed when the shoes arrived with scuffs on the back of one of the shoes. Everything else about the shoe is great.

Hab die Schuhe für ein Fotoshooting gekauft. Dafür sind sie gut geeignet. Weit laufen möchte ich damit aber nicht. Auf unebenem Boden wird das schnell sehr anstrengend, man hat keinen guten halt, weil die Sohle auch kein gutes Profil hat und die Schuhe sind sehr steif und unflexibel, was sie leider auch etwas unbequem macht. Je nach verwendungszweck also 1 bis 5 Sterne. Für mich sind es 4 Sterne.

I've had these for a while and theyre still in pretty good condition! the only damage theyve sustained is one of the little stud ring things that hold the laces fell off on each boot. good product though
