My 15 + year old Lagotto was not eating well and loosing significant weight. She was refusing almost any food I offered and when she did eat would often not hold it down. I was having to find different foods for her almost every day. I really thought her days were coming to a close until I started giving her this supplement. At first I had to use a feeding syringe ( I mix the power with warm water and a bit of Tomlyn High Calorie Nutritional Gel) to get it down her. Now I simply add it to her meals.She's been taking the Standard Process supplement for about 4 months and is amazingly happy, eating and active. She's still a senior but she has gained weight and strength, loves her walks, runs around the yard and is generally enjoying herself.This product has definitely added to her enjoyment of life and increased her wellbeing. I will start my younger dogs on this supplement as they approach their senior years.

Easy to add to their food and really does help your dog from collecting a lot of plaque on their teeth!!!

Please be aware...... I gave the product 5 stars because I can't fault the product but I just want to make people aware that if your pet has heart issues you might want to check with your vet before using this. My little guy has stage 3 heart disease and I gave him just one dose and minutes later he started breathing rapidly and deeply. It really worried me. His breathing eventually went back to normal but I have not given him any since so whether it was an interaction with his heart meds or his allergy pills is not clear. I'm thinking it is the licorice that caused the negative interaction. Just want people to know. I love Standard Process products and have been using their products for years and will continue to recommend them.

My dog is picky but he will actually eat these! And they’re good for his teeth.

i give one star off because i feel like the label is misleading. i believe this is meant to promote good dental health in that it will help puppies and younger dogs grow stronger and healthier teeth as they grow up, but not necessarily promote good dental hygiene like many pet owners would be looking for/lead to believe for their older adult dogs. i crush and crumble these into my puppy's food and she's none the wiser. hopefully this does help her grow strong teeth, but the ingredient looks legit and no bad experience on my end so far.

I have been using Standard Process products forever for my family. I tried this product for my 13 year old dog's gum health. Her gums and teeth look sooo much better! I highly recommend this product!

Cannot use them. They arrived all clumped together and I can’t even get them out of the bottle!

As most small dogs, my 10-year-old Pomeranian has dental issues. My vet recommended these. She gets one at night and one in the morning and keeps her teeth fairly decent between cleanings. I just wish they were a little more cost-efficient but will continue to buy as they are on my subscribe and save account.
