I saw a segment about this company and its process on Escape to the Country. It was fascinating seeing the rainwater dripping through the thorns. I decided I had to give it a try but worried it might not be available in the US. Imagine my surprise to see it on Amazon. It is so unique and flavorful. It is not a substitute for fine grain table salt. These are little crunchy flakes that serve as a finishing salt/topper. I love it!

I love this stuff. I bought it after watching a a show that documented the special and ancient way this husband and wife duo pull the salt from the sea water and was fascinated enough to buy their product. It is delicious, flaky salt perfect for just about anything.
