I was already impressed with your brand, but this really took things to the next level! I had a look at several of your other coffees and I will be trying them in the near future.Since my review I have also tried Dark Mystery, Pacific Northwest Espresso, and Arrosto Scuro (Italian Roast) and enjoyed all of them. Barrie House cannot be found in any retail stores where I live, so I plan on taking some of these cups to work with me and sharing with my fellow coffee drinkers who may not have heard of this brand.Original Review:Barrie House French Roast Extra Bold Single Serve Coffee Pods, 24 PackBold and flavorful. One of the best K-Cups that I have had in a while, better than Peet's. Caffeine content was tolerable and did not have me climbing the walls. I am definitely a fan and I will be buying this again.My only complaint is with Amazon and not Barrie House. Coffee got shipped in plastic bags from Amazon warehouse. So retail packaging had been damaged enough to where some k-cups had fallen outside of of the box. Fortunately all cups appear to be usable.I brewed this on the 6oz setting on the K-Supreme Plus. Strength setting, level 3. Temperature setting, level 2.

I love the coffee, it’s smooth and delicious! However, the cup is too tough to be pierced in one of myk-cup coffee makers. It does fine in the Keurig Coffee maker, but can’t always effectively be pierced by my Cuisinart k-cup unit.

I have tried numerous types and brands of coffee. I go for the rich bold flavors of coffee. I purchased three types of this coffee the Columbian, Sumatra and this one House Blend extra bold. Columbia used to be my go to coffee so I really thought that may be the best or hoped it would be. I have been using GM Columbia reserve fair trade since in my search for a good cup of coffee that came the closest to being the best.So...... I tried the Columbian first when they arrived and it was really good, great tasting cup of coffee, way better that Green Mountain.Then I tried the Sumatra.....it was fantastic.....great bold coffee flavor as promised.Lastly I tried the House Blend...............WOW, it blew the other 2 out off of the chart. It is the best coffee I have ever had. I was a big fan of Dunkin Donuts and Yep McDonalds and even Starbucks coffee. This House Blend Extra Bold has them beaten hands down. It is the BOMB. This will probably be the only coffee I purchase from now on for my Keurig Vue machine (I had purchased the adaptor the Solo V2 that has the little adaptor to poke a hole in the bottom of the cup).And the price for the Barrie House coffees are unbelievable. The prices are so great that it makes me want to be for adventurous and try more and different types of coffee that I've never tried before because it was so cost prohibited. I won't be buying any more of the expensive Kcups from any other manufacturer. I sure hope Amazon continues to sell this brand.

The coffee is fantastic - my husband’s favorite. No issues in our Keurig. Rating for the coffee itself is 5 stars. My issue is with the Amazon fulfillment/shipping. I’d give 0 stars if I could. I have purchased the 4 pack (96 k cups) twice now and both times I was only shipped 1 box of 24 k cups. Completely frustrating. I will go back to buying single boxes now, not anything labeled “4 pack” as they clearly can’t get it right. It’s a shame because the price is way better perK cup when buying 4 boxes as opposed to 1. Maybe they’ll correct this shipping problem in the future but I don’t want to chance it again.4/14/22 Update - I ordered 1 box of 24 k cups that arrived in a plastic shipping bag, not a box. Inside, the coffee box was destroyed and k cups and coffee grounds were all over the shipping bag. K cups were damaged and opened during shipping. I’m done. I guess I can’t order this coffee from Amazon anymore. This has been 3 bad experiences in a row. I noticed today’s package was delivered by UPS. I’m downgrading to 1 star. Good luck to others. I’ll order direct from the company going forward.

The coffee is fine. Not wonderful, but fine. The stupid pods, however, are so tough that I have to slam the top of my Keurig to get the little pointy thing to penetrate the bottom of the pod. If the puncture fails to happen, a big mess occurs and I do not tolerate mess before my first cup of coffee.

I decided to give this only 3 stars simply because it's a midway point between 1 and 5 stars. The truth is: I never got a chance to taste it. Why? Because these don't fit Keurig 2.0. It would have been nice if the manufacturer had put this on the box. If you have a 2.0 brewer don't buy these because it won't work. The brewer can't punch a hole in the bottom of the cup. I even tried making a hole, but this didn't work either, so stay away from these if you have a 2.0 brewer.Additional Note - 8/30/16: When I setup a return for these cups, the return was accepted, but I didn't have to physically return the item. I got a refund, but due to the nature of the return, I could keep the cups. Since this was the case, what I did was open one of the cups and pour the coffee in a French press with hot water. This way I didn't have to waste this tasty coffee, and it is tasty at that. I like to add a little coconut milk with some coconut syrup. I never use creamers or sugar. The result was a very earthy, yummy cup of coffee fully of chocolaty sweetness. So if you don't have a 2.0 brewer, jut pour the contents in a French press and problem solved.

I have drunk this exact coffee (Barrie House 10% Hawaiian Kona Blend Single Serve Coffee) for years, the latest batch tastes burnt. 8/14/2024UPDATE: 9/4/2024 They refunded my purchase.

Wow, the stuff is really good. I am a skeptic, I find a new product, and I have troubles replacing old ones! So far this one is a friggin keeper! Extra bold French roast, it is exactly that! I use it in the Keurig 2.0 multi stream. I would honestly say that it has a tad higher caffeine content than the Sta+€%#ks French roast(that’s a good thing)!! I have to say it is a lot fresher, and easier to recycle than most! And it’s just over $13 for 24 pods on monthly subscription! Sure beats the out of stock Sta+€%#ks at $19 on subscription! Yeah Me!

I have a hard time finding a k-cup coffee that I find enjoyable but this one suits the bill and is consistently full flavoured. My go to brand and style

This coffee is great quality for the money. Smooth and flavourful.

Packaging is good, pod design is good but the taste is too acidic. I can't take a photograph of the taste but I tasted several different brands' decaffeinated coffees, I know how good coffee tastes and this is unfortunately one of the worst.
