Ordered this for a bathroom. Very easy to assemble. Door extremely heavy. Requires 2 strong people to handle after assembled. Added a 1x6 header board (not included) to carry the weight. Glides effortlessly. Love the farmhouse look. Hardware is matte black and very sturdy. There is a gap on sides of the door, which wasn’t a big privacy issue for us. Also added a sturdy lock. (Not included). Very happy with purchase.

I love this barn door. It was very easy to install. The directions are easy to follow and the video is also extremely useful. Our doorway entry is only 80” tall, so we got the 84” tall door and cut 3” off the bottom so it’s 81” and it covers the door completely. We had to cut it down, because there wasn’t enough room above the door to install it at 84”. The directions say to leave 6” above the center rail hole, but we only had enough room for 5” and we had plenty of room to lift the door up onto the rail. Honestly, 4” would probably have been enough room-for those of you with not a lot of room above the rail. The finish is flawless and wipes off nicely. The glide is smooth. We used the bottom glider that attaches to the wall. We just cut off a little piece of the shoe trim and it fit perfectly. I have provided a picture of the glider in my review. I highly recommend this door. We had a professional estimate to have a door custom made and installed, and the quote was $3000! So this door is a real steal for under $300!

I love this door. We needed a door for a closet with a strange size opening and I did not want a door that swung open due to the location and lack of floor space in the area. After months of searching I stumbled across this barn door and could not be happier. The hardware is substantial, the track/ wheel glides smoothly and the stopper works wonderfully. Best of all it was easy for my husband to assemble and install. Our studs weren’t spaced for the pre drilled holes so we used a header rail. I already have plans to buy another one for our basement remodel. Excellent price for the door and the hardware.

Great door, far heavier duty/durable than I expected. I'm a 5'5 female and was able to assemble it myself without any issues. My 80 year old father installed it, and it works great. As other reviewers have mentioned, he did have to put a board up to put the slider rail on. The door slides smoothly and fits the opening perfectly. We got the largest door to go over our washer/dryer nook, it is a significant improvement over the accordion doors it replaced.

Great quality door and it looks really nice in my space. Make sure you read through the instructions and measurements prior to committing to building this door. Because you will in fact, BUILD this door. Also make sure you check the door floor guides. We ran into the problem of the flooring not giving us the ability to anchor the guide so I will have to use an adhesive to keep from drilling unnecessary holes.

Nice looking but screws for the rail just fell apart. More than one.Wasted soooo much time on this POS. I can't even use the words I want to here.Don't buy. Repeat. DO NOT BUY.
