The HDMI makes all the difference when hooking up to an entertainment system. With other machines graphics on TV and music through external speakers/amp would often not sync which made singing along difficult if you weren’t familiar with the song. This machine actually sounds good on its own as well and the built in display is handy when you don’t have a tv to hookup to. Great little machine. I had an old “The Singing Machine” which finally cratered after about 20 years and tried a newer model but the sound was nothing compared to Karaoke USA. If you are looking to play your old CD-G’s, I highly recommend this one.

Bluetooth doesn’t come through home speakers when I use HDMI. Am I doing something wrong?

It gives us sound. The volume is low after turning up the volume. We cannot get the words to come up on the television. We kept it because we used it for Christmas.

One microphone did not work at all and the overall volume was very low. Not satisfied at all.

Ithe quality wasn’t as good as I had hoped it would be for the money.
