I like how the hookups are color coded but this is a very DIY kit The volume control is very iffy doesn't work quiet and doesn't work loud but does a medium volume, however you need to use deep tones and vibrations when you talk, or it doesn't pick up what you are saying. a lot of my sentences were being cut off at the end of the last word. The velcro on the mounting points for the headset and the speaker appears to be on the wrong side of what it should be. why would you put velcro pads on the inside of the microphone that sides against your head? It would make more sense to have it on the outside to attach it to the inside of the helmet. Also, the speaker is the same way why would you put velcro on the front of the speaker cone.

As a couple of other reviewers stated... the components in this are DIYish and the distortion produced is too overboard. Couldn't really use it.

There's way to much distortion, makes it very hard to understand anything your saying, comparable to the black series helmet voice changer. Come with a cheap portable speaker (which has already stopped working). Over all not worth the buy
