Red hills black cherry preserves are made with northwest Marion berries, contain 55 percent fruit and are as close to perfection as you can get. Just fruit and sugar make this the highest quality product on the market.

If you're a fan of marionberries you won't be disapointed
I almost always prefer preserves to jams or jellies and these marionberry preserves are no exception. The best marionberries come from Marion County in the Willamette Valley and the berries used for these preserves are from there. If you've never had it, by all means give it a try. If you're already a marionberry connoisseur then you really should try these for comparison purposes and please leave a review...I'm always looking for good treats to try :-).Enjoy!

Wow, wow and wow..best ever.
This marionberry preserve is hands down the best ever. It is like smashed fresh fruit on a spoon. The consistancy is medium thick. It is just fruit, pieces of berry everywhere. The flavor is fresh, naturally sweet berry goodness. . No strong sugar taste, or over powering sweetness. This particular preserve is great on toast, cracker or ice cream, I can attest to that. But I can see this between layers of a cake or baked in center of cupcake, or spooned in the center of a thumbprint cookie. The pluses are it is gmo free, and hand picked in Oregon

Tastes very close to pure sugar
I am in constant search of blackberry flavored preserves. I've tried dozens of brands and decided to give this one a try. I think is will appeal to those with a very sweet palate, to me there is very little difference between this jam and pure brown sugar. On the plus side, it is full of seeds but they really don't linger in the mouth. Of all the brands I've tried, this is near the bottom of my list, I will not order it again. Unfortunately, some of my favorites from Clearbrook farms, and Kozlowski farms were acquired and they no longer produce those products. E.D. Smith has some great tasting products but not a pure marionberry option.

A Wonderful Taste of the Pacific Northwest
The product arrived as described...The packaging protected the items and there was no breakage of the glass containers. I attended the University of Oregon back in the 1970's...and this product...each time I opened one of the five jars...takes me back in time. The taste of the berries is something special and to add it to crackers and a spreadable cheese...as the topping...is a delight. A Sunday evening of Hot Chocolate and Toast with this wonderful jam brings back memories of a fall day...sitting outside around a fire pit...with the smell of pine and cedar...I do not know how a jar of Marionberry jam could do all this...but it does...worth every penny!

Delicious, however...
There are FAR TOO MANY seeds. The taste is absolutely delicious, perfect. But the sheer amount of seeds is just too much. And they're very hard, like tiny rocks. I'm afraid they'll get stuck in between teeth or etc. Unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy this product or purchase ever again.

Very sweet
I am a fan of Marion Berry jam. This one is very good, but it is also very sweet.

Decent product.
Too many seeds. Should be more refined. Good price due to lack of processing enough. Good taste. Wouldn't order again.

Worst preserves ever
At first it tasted OK, but it is super super sweet and sugary and not much fruit. After you put it in the refrigerator ITV solidifies into a gunky sugary mess.
