Defective Out of The Box
After putting it together started it up and heard a very loud scraping noise coming from the exhaust fan, it was rubbing against the plastic housing, I don't think anyone tested this unit, it then locked up and tripped my circuit breaker , very disappointed

Great Unit and effective spot cooler
This is a well built unit and extremely quiet. The best solution to using it outdoors is to fully customize it if in a fixed area. I bought insulated 6in flex duct and extended one of the outlets a distance of over 15 ft so i could cool an outside bar area as well as a second seating area under an awning. The ducts have been concealed with some nifty carpentry and the entire setup is hidden from view. I wish I had opted for the next size up but still very happy with this unit. Note I am in Key West Florida with very high humidity and daily 88 degree heat. This unit at least creates a comfort zone to entertain outside. Note that their customer service is instant with no wait times and the Sales Manager (Ron) is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend

Disappointed in the square footage covered for this item. Would have returned but several days too late to send back.
