I thought it would be a cute little house warming gift for my roommate who is moving, I was hoping to at least have them growing by the time he moves. I followed the directions exactly and not a single one is even sprouting.

I got the kit at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb. I read the instructions and I also did my own research as the instruction booklet is not as clear at it should be. I had to use different technique for treating the seeds. I also had to look up when the best time to plant the seed for germination since the book doesn’t tell you that either. It’s been about 2 weeks since I planted the seeds and I have 2 of them already sprouting as you can see in the picture, the Japanese black pine and the royal poinciana. I’m just now waiting for the other 2 to hopefully start sprouting.If you order be prepared to do your research on treating the seeds and on the germination process. Also you know when you should start the treatment, for me I started at the end of February for 2 of the seeds and the other 2 I treated in the first week of March so they can all be planted during that week.

Not having a growing time at all with these seeds. They pop through then die immediately. It’s frustrating!!! I’d be better off just buying the plants in town I think!! Totally waste of money is what I told my husband since he bought this for me. I don’t recommend this product. Sorry. I usually don’t give bad reviews either but I’m just being honest here.

This took me a little bit of time to figure out and get started, but once I planted my first 3 plants they took off and in about 5 days I had good growth. My second set had an issue the soil block didn't produce as much soil as my first block so I had 2 full containers and one that was only 3/4's full. The plants are growing well in the soils so far. I am holding out on my last 3 planters to see which ones of the herbs grows the best and are the ones I use mostly then I'll start the last 3 pots.

I bought this kit as a gift for my elderly green thumb mother. She was intrigue by the package and started right in on getting trees growing! She said the kit was fabulous and so way to do: she had sprouts/ growth within 2 weeks. My husband wants one for us now !

This makes a very nice gift for the one who you have no idea what to get. You get essentially everything you need to get started. The pots are small and if you want a bumper crop, you'll want to wait until warmer weather approaches so you can transfer them outside. Moving them outside will also extend the life. Use good quality soil, the included nutrition pack and peat pellets, and you're off and running. The herb kit comes in a nice sealed box that is the perfect size for wrapping.

I followed the instructions on all four varieties and none sprouted or grew. The return window closed already or I would return for a refund. I don’t recommend this kit.

I was very excited to purchase this item. However, after following the instructions and playing the waiting game, the only thing to sprout was mold. This is very disappointing. I would not recommend anybody to purchase this item. I should’ve read the reviews.
