I've found this to be quite useful for a few reasons. It's flat, so my drone's props aren't bumping anything on takeoff and landing. It's plastic/waterproof, so wet grass isn't a problem. It's easily visible, so my drone is happy to set it as a Home point. It folds up small enough to fit into my drone's carrying bag, so it's not a pain to lug around. Overall, it works fine.

This was 50%+ less expensive than other name brand pads. It like the circle shape of the others but really like the color and price of this.

How did it get run over by a car, you ask? I parked in a public parking lot to launch my drone in a downtown suburban area. I decided to put the mat on the roof of my minivan so I could easily identify my parked vehicle from all the others from the air through the camera FPV. When I landed, I was in a rush because I was running late. I folded up my drone, got in my vehicle, and drove away. It was only 30 minutes later as I was packing up all my gear that I realized I left the landing mat on the roof of my vehicle when I drove away from the parking lot. I returned to the site and found the mat lying in the middle of the street where it fell off just outside the parking lot. It had a big tire tread mark on it where it had clearly been run over. When I got home I used some soap and water and wiped the tire mark off. It cleaned up good as new, and was not even dented or imprinted. So, I'd say it's pretty durable. I'm glad I decided to go back for it. Just make sure you take the mat off the roof of your vehicle if you use it the way I did. Aside from durability, this is simple, inexpensive, and folds up to a nice size that is easily stored in a backpack. I like that it has two colors for different ground (or vehicle) contrast options.

I wanted a landing pad to avoid issues of take off/landing in tall grass and in fall leaves getting into props. I looked a the basically two types of pads available the pop out tent material type the are so light you have to use stakes to keep them from blowing away in wind or just the prop wash or this type of heavy (not heavy to carry just enough to stay in pace) solid plate type that folds up. After little research i came to the obvious conclusion that the solid type was best but also cost little more but was worth it. The pad folds up small enough to fit in my drone go box that has everything i need in it to grab and go fly but when unfolded is nice large landing pad and the weight holds it in place no matter the wind. I bought the pink/black version because was super low priced compared to the other colors, i have no problem with it being pink to save so much money and the bright pink actually really makes it stand out in all conditions and ended up being a benefit to make it super easy to see pad from drone cameras. When done give it a quick wipe with a rag to get all the grass clippings and yard litter off in one wipe and fold back up.

Definitely worth the price compared to other ones I have seen. Definitely 5 stars 🌟

Para despegue se puede mover a tu antojo. cuando esta sobre el sol por mucho tiempo se pone mas blandito y parece que no aguanta pero si lo hace. no abarca mucha área pero para que el dron despegue es buen método. limpiarlo lo he puesto en arena o en tierra y aveces en charcos y no me ha sido necesario limpiarlo pero de vez en cuando un trapillo húmedo y queda. no es tan estorboso como otros y queda para lo que necesitas.

I purchased this landing pad for my DJI Mini a few months back, and I'm very happy with my decision. This landing pad is pretty convenient due to it's small form factor that's comparable in size to a small tablet, so I can easily stash it in my bike's panier or in my backpack etc. The quality of materials used is great, and there are no foul smells (which is pretty important to me). Previously I was using a thin styrofoam piece for taking off, but that was not ideal since it's super light and wind would blow it if I don't anchor it with something... but for landing I'd always find a flat surface. Now with this I can take off / land from various surfaces, including grass, sand, and uneven terrain, without worrying about damaging the propellers. I've include two photos as a reference to show it's front and back side and the size relative to a Panasonic cordless phone. Lastly it's super easy/intuitive to fold, as you can see from the attached video of me folding it one-handed (since I was holding my phone with the other hand).

I wanted a landing pad that would lay flat, some material ones are to flimsy so went for this one, I went large as recommended in training. It is a good size, flattens the gras, it wipable and folds flat. It good for me. It is quite heavy for a pad, but that is what make if good.

I previously had one of the round, 'pop-up' type landing pads. Though this was functional, it was a bit difficult to transport and in even the most moderate breeze, had to be pinned down. This is much easier to use, being that it simply folds out during use, and then folds back down for transport. It is easier to keep clean as is can simply be wiped down. And it has a bit of weight behind it, meaning that it can be used in all but the most windy weather with ease. Highly recommended!

Lo uso con un air 3 y creo que sirve bien para evitar levantar mucho polvo y que pudiera empezar a entrar a los motores. Recomendado
