NIV, Ultimate Bible for Girls, Faithgirlz Edition, Leathersoft, Purple Imitation Leather – August 2, 2022

I got this for my 10 year old granddaughter and it seems perfect for her age. It has book description pages and notes within each book that help connect old and new testament passages. There are pages in the back for notes and a section of scriptures to look up for all the different categories in which she might have questions; for example "When you're feeling lonely (or sad, or guilty, or angry, etc) look at these scriptures". I wish it had maps. And as believers in the importance of baptism for salvation, I wish it didn't have a page promoting the 'sinner's prayer', but I used it as a teaching tool. And I wish it had words of Christ in red. The colors of the artwork and book notes is very pleasing; they're muted pinks and grays that do not detract from the message. Overall it is very well done for the age intended.

Gifted to my 9 year old little cousin after her baptism. She loves it so much, I do as well. However, I do think it is for girls that are a little over, maybe 11/12 and up. It has places to take notes, and lots of scriptures aside from the actual Bible dialogue. It’s very nice and educational for young girls growing in Christ.

We gave our niece a bible basket for her 13th birthday and this was the main gift. It's so pretty and just absolutely perfect for her. I appreciate the hardcover and the notes section so she can start journaling. We prayed over it before giving it to her and I'm its just the right size so she can carry it around if she wants.
