It works

Hay que ser cuidadoso al instalar ya que al quebrar el marco de plástico para poder insertar el filtro, puedes romper la membrana filtrante

Cabin Air Filter retrofit kit requires cutting slot in air box under the dash. Cabin air filter is standard practice now but Chevy unfortunately omitted until later model years. It is marketed as an air quality feature but more importantly this protects and prevents air box, evaporator coil, heater core and ductwork from getting plugged and causing big maintenance issues later on. This kit contains all you need (with the exception of DIY LABOR) to install, including great instructions w/ pictures. Contents include filter, cover plate to seal filter slot and attachment screw. Then just change the cabinet filter once a year after that. Installation time: a couple of hours. It’s kind of tedious cutting the slot into air box under the dash, and I recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to clean out all the debris that has accumulated inside airbox over the years, but if you are planning on keeping your truck a long time it’s worth doing this.
