IDEAL | Scribblish: The fun family drawing game of how THIS became THAT! | Family Games | For 4-6 Players | Ages 8+

Played this New Year’s Eve with the family. Easy to learn and relatively quick to play a round. Had some great laughs at rubbish drawings and ridiculous quotes. Age that played were 10,14,18 and 45+!! and the ages really didn’t matter. Would recommend

This is a fun game for all the family. The paper is a bit tricky to get into the pencils but it’s fun trying to draw and guess

The format of the game is brilliant. It is entertaining, especially for kids. The timer seems to run through a bit too quick and trying to put the paper in the scroll is tricky but otherwise a great laugh.

My neice wanted this for her birthday and really enjoys playing it.

We found this game very fiddle to play. You have to use the little pencil tools to roll up a scroll of paper which you then draw on and roll it up a little to hide your drawing before the next person adds their drawing. Some members of the family needed assistance with getting the paper lined up correctly in the pencil so that they could roll it up. This made the game a bit of a fiddle and to be honest, it wasn't that great. We used to do a similar thing where you would draw a head then fold the paper over and someone else would draw the next part of the body, and so on. This game is like a cross between that and Chinese whispers. Actually we found that we were all a bit too in tune with each other as we found that the results in all the games we played were pretty similar so that kind of took the hilarity out of it. Don't think we will bother playing it again. May be good for an older kids party though, where there is a fair bit of silliness.

Really good fun

Superb game, easy to play. Weirdly a few reviews state that they cannot insert the paper into the pencils which is bizarre as this simply is not an issue. We have played it throughout the holidays and it’s been a lot of fun. Great value for money.

The papers do not fit into the slots on the pencils, so renders the playability as a non-starter. It is mass produced trash. Not worth the money. Granted the game cards give some quirky ideas, but you’d be better off folding paper and drawing the next part of a body in the old fashioned game this may have been based on. Avoid spending money on this and go out and do something less boring instead.
