I love the Kate Somerville Exfolikate but the price is just insane for the little amount you get. Naturium for the win here! It's gentle enough for me to use multiple times a week but still an effective exfoliator (a chemical and physical exfoliator). My skin feels smooth and soft after using, but never tight or irritated. An absolute repurchase for me.

****UPDATE 01/29/23**** I stated I wouldn't purchase this item again but I lied. Yes, I still have some slight signs of melasma, but with consistently working on reducing the pigment they have lightened considerably! I actually do love this product because it smooths and softens the skin so nicely. But you must be careful. I originally purchased this item at the end of October 2022 and am still working on the 1st bottle. I use this sometimes 2-3xs per week. Iam 46 and have combination skin and it can be oily in my t zone. This product smooths out texture, even small bumps, it evens the skin and pumps it. My main focus when it comes to skincare is to keep my skin as clear as possible, radiant and PLUMP. When I use this item at night or during thr day, I sometimes follow this up with Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment. The focus is to achieve clear, firm, plump baby skin and I think these two working pretty well. If I feel I am going alil nutty with the chemical exfoliates... I will take a break for a couple of days and focus on hydration. Love this just purchased my 2nd bottle which I will stretch out for the next 4 months! *******original post 10/22 There was a time I was super scared of Glycolic acid, but not anymore. I would consider this product to be a good refresher for the skin. It instantly smooths & slightly plumps the skin. After my 2nd Wash I use Hyaluronic acid serum and a night cream. I typically use this at night. I won't buy this product again because I have some melasma spots & this will not do anything to remedy that problem.

I used this to help with my milia and trapped whiteheads. This helped to clear my blackheads as well.

I actually really enjoyed the consistency and feel of this scrub, it is not abrasive at all and left my skin feeling very soft and fresh. However , something that is good for some who may have extra sensitivity to certain things (especially exfoliant scrubs) is this didn't have any additive fragrance that I could find or smell, so if you have to avoid fragrance for allergies or sensitivity this could be great for you, However , it honestly smells a bit like glue to me. I don't mind because it's not on my face very long before washing off and I just don't smell it, but if that's something you can't stand, this is probably not the best scrub for you. if you can get past that , it is a great scrub and I didn't have to use much at all to get a great scrub. I am looking forward to adding this into my regular skincare routine

This half step flash facial mask is great to use if you’re short on time. Only requires 5 mins and you apply it in between cleanses. Instructions say you can use it up to twice a week. Spread it over your face after initial cleansing, let it sit five minutes, then gently rub/rinse it off. This mask has tons of little exfoliating crystals in it which feels great on your skin and wasn’t anything too harsh. Scent was also good, wasn’t anything too strong or overwhelming. Most of the time I skip out on doing masks because I don’t have the time to wait 20-30 minutes (which most require). This one is quick, actually feels effective, and didn’t cause any irritation to my skin.

I really like this Half Step Exfoliating Flash Facial Mask. It has very fine abrasives as well as chemical exfoliants. I have found for me that the amount of exfoliation I get from the physical exfoliants from just applying the product is plenty. I then leave it on for about 10-15 minutes before I shower to let the chemical exfoliants do their job. This leaves my skin very polished and smooth without feeling dry and tight. It dries out while on, so unless you get it wet again, you can't do any physical polishing later in the process. I have somewhat dry skin with several patches that will get quite dry without attention. This mask does not seem to irritate those patches at all. In fact, I think overall it helps with hydration and it certainly helps with appearance and feel. I do use serum and moisturizer after.

Its like a chunkier, more expensive, & smellier version of the Versed AHA SCRUB, because yes, this is a SCRUB. Get the Dr Idress Flash Mask instead. Its a runny, hydrating gel.. an actual mask. Dont use if you have acne or any sore/ wound. Because, let me tell you: They're using the term "mask" liberally, here. Texture is Dense & had TONS OF PUMMICE. May as well pick at your acne with sand and literal acid. You have to use this with a ton of water, diluting the ingredients. Otherwise, it would fall straight off your face; it's like trying to call PlayDough a mask. If they had POSTED ONE PICTURE OF THE PRODUCT ITSELF IN THE LISTING, rather than the packaging, I would not have bought it & left this review. No photos or videos of it being used were in the post.
