Fun mat for kids. My son uses it often. I highly recommend it for kids 14 and under. It never gets old to have a town for hot wheels. Quality made and never ending fun. Encourages creativity.

I bought this for my car loving son's birthday. He was absolutely thrilled and literally spends all day every day playing with it! He was specific in his wants: roads wide enough for cars to pass each other using both lanes. After reading reviews (thank you to those who posted measurements on the road width!), I ordered this rug, and the roads are perfect. I have three boys, and they all play with this rug, creating traffic jams and high speed police chases! They use matchbox/hot wheels size cars on this. They love the traffic circles, parking spaces, and airstrips. Oh, and it even has a pond for their boat! The size is awesome, nice and long, so multiple kids can play together. It works great on high pile carpet, or tile floors, leaving no damage, and not slipping around while they play. I definitely recommend this rug! Oh, for reference, my boys are 8, 6, and 4.

It's pretty large and is actually better quality than the Melissa and Doug mat we have. It has eventually had a run of a carpet strand on it but the M&D mat has had two. The pattern repeats but it's not that noticeable and fun for my 3 year old to play on. Definitely recommend and the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the run in the carpet strand. But it's better quality than the M&D mat we have - twice as large and less expensive as well.

1-21-2026 My price for the large one was 30 bucks. Almost like the 90s but definitely super close! I’ve gone through tons of these trying find a good solid car rug and this one is it! I bought the large size and it’s perfect for a couple small town setups. Good price, doesn’t snag the cars, rolls up nice and feels like a good quality material.

My kids love this rug. It’s a lot nicer than I expected. Doesn’t have an order like other play rugs. It stays flat and doesn’t slide around at all. The colors are vivid and the print is perfect. We would buy again.
