This holds napkins that are square or oblong. It's very sturdy and looks great on my kitchen dining table.

This is a great napkin holder! It looks beautiful on our kitchen island. Perfect fit for the everyday napkins you can purchase at the big box stores.

Defects and all, this napkin holder is very nice. At its height, it fits most table napkins and looks refined on your table or on a kitchen counter. The color is not quite stainless steel - it has a coating that protect the finish that gives the metal a subtle bluish tone, but it is not bothersome at all. Additionally, it is not a heavy accessory. It is light and can be positioned any where in your kitchen. It also comes with pads to protect wood or stone from any metal scratches (++). I took one star off due to defects in craftmanship (see photos). I decided to keep it because it is very cute overall.
