Good quality glassware

These are gorgeous glasses. They sound good when you ring them, each one has a different sound. I use these for tasting whiskey and other spirits. The crystal cutting is very nice. They are thick and feel solid in the hand. They stand without issues, and will not accidentally fall over. They are regular "glencairn" size, so appropriate for a small drink or large taste, neat. They are ideal for 1oz to 2oz pours, perfect for 1.5oz pours. They concentrate they whiskey flavor and make it easy to nose. Drinking out of them is easy and works well. These are the perfect glasses. You can use them for small pours of other things, but they are too small for wine. You can use them for a small pour of port or fortified wine, but the nose will concentrate too much, and may be a bit harsh. I recommend these for someone who wants a whiskey glass or spirits glass, particularly for the bourbon or scotch drinker who enjoys their whiskey neat. They also work well for cognac and armagnac, rum, and so on. If you want to add water or ice to your whiskey, they may not be the best choice. If you cannot handle the smell of alcohol, these are bad - they concentrate the nose for people who want to smell and appreciate every flavor. They not for newbie drinkers. They are very elegant and feel like crystal. If you want to step up past the average glencairn, into something special, this a great glass. I own a whole set.

Beautiful glass for sipping whiskey, bourbon and even tequilla. It makes a great gift as well. Highly recommend. The only downside is the high price.

The size, shape and design are perfect to enjoy whiskey neat or with light ice.

It is pricey but pretty nice. Not sure I would buy again for the cost.

Ich besitze bereits mehrere Standard - Nosinggläser von The Glencairn. Dann beschloss ich dieses hochwertige Glas zu testen und wurde nicht entäuscht. Als ich das Glencairn Cut Crystal Whisky Tasting Glass auspackte, fiehl sofort das deutlich höhere Gewicht des geschliffenen Glases im Vergleich zum Standardglas. Der Schliff sieht natürlich auch sehr edel aus und ist sauber gearbeitet. Tolle Haptik! Nach mehren Monaten in Benützung sieht das Nosingglas immer noch wie neu aus. Also, bewährte Glencairn Glasqualität! Das Glas kam gut verpackt und unversehrt bei mir an. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!
