NEBO Lil Larry - Red

This was a replacement for one a couple years old. Supposed to be "impact resistant." I know it was dropped one time. Flashlight failed after about 2 months. Original batteries still OK. White light (bright and dim) quit working. Flashing red light OK though. Same problem as my old one, but that one was about 3 years old before failing. Contacted NEBO. NEBO suggested I buy expensive Energizer Lithium. They said white LED's require a minimum voltage to work. That is NOT my experience. LED's I have used go dim very slow and operate with less light but down to a very low voltage. I'm convinced that dropping it damaged the switch/power conditioning module (impact resistant, ha!) But NEBO seems reluctant to agree. And I did try new alkaline batteries and white LED's still don't work. Haven't contacted Amazon yet to see if I can get a refund.

Does anyone make a nice light that just clicks on and off? Really dislike the "push 3 times" just to turn off the light. Even Harbor Freight figured out how to do it in their light.

This light is so bright you need to avoid turning it toward your face.Yet so tiny and lightweight.Impressive.

Only problem is that ones I've ordered previously have been magnetic. This one wasn't.

IMO, the best all-around battery-operated emergency signal light, and worth the price. They also made excellent gifts!

The light output for the small size is great.

Bright compact and extremely useful - Great to have in your EDC Kit

I find this a very useful little flashlight which can be clipped in the pocket like a pen. The solid aluminium body is of high quality ( considering the price ). The only thing to be wary of is the quite powerful magnet at the end, it could affect credit cards or sensitive kit. The light is not a focused beam but an area illuminator, like some mobile phones have; but this is powerful and better and saves wasting the phone battery. The magnet is useful to attach to a vehicles body, or some such, leaving both hands free to work in low light areas. All together, very impressed. I also have the big Larry 2 version which is brilliant.

The light is bright and all. flexibility with shortening the light was a nice touch. However, the magnet is too weak. I cant have it on a horizontal plane without falling off. Its extremely frustrating when trying to work on my car in tight spaces when it always falls down the engine bay. Wouldnt recommend to someone who would rely on the magnet 9/10 times when using this light.

Great in an emergency the flashing red light would certainly be visible. I keep mine in my purse. Great in a power failure as well, lights up the whole room

Great little light weight package yet sturdy. Having two output settings is a bonus.
