Very Fresh
Having eaten loukoum before, I knew what to expect. Not my favorite treat, but I do enjoy it once in a while for a change of pace. By comparison, these are quite good. Some of the freshest that I've had. Has a great bite to the mouth and doesn't stick between my teeth. Very easy to chew. For those who have never tried anything like this before, it's kind of like a gummy candy but much easier to chew and it's more natural tasting. The flavor is sweet, yet on the mild side. The set that I received did not contain any sort of nuts or other additions. Most I've had in the past have contained very small bits of nuts, usually pistachios. Personally, I do much prefer them with these nuts, but I realize some would rather have them without. These had nothing at all added. Though I do much prefer them with nuts, these are of a good quality and they are very fresh. The one thing that drives me crazy though, and is standard for this treat, is all of that very fine powdered sugar coating these candies have. It's that same sugar they use to coat wedding cookies, if you are familiar with those. Way too much for me, but you need to realize that I just don't like all of that extra sugar, besides it being a mess. Because they are so messy, I'll eat them standing over a sink so that all of that powdery mess can easily be washed away. I would very highly suggest eating these served with a dish because they will make a mess. There's so much powder that you'll have so much left in the tray that you could use to powder up a whole batch of wedding cookies with the extra. Not that I suggest doing so. Just saying to point out how overly powdered these are. These make for a nice after dinner treat when you want something mildly sweet and light to top off your meal. Or makes for a nice midday snack with a cup of coffee or tea.

Greek Turkish delight
These are just like Turkish delight but made with Chios mastiha. They are bite-sized and coated with sugar powder. The flavor is sweet and pleasant, and has a nice aftertaste to it. The texture is very soft and delightful to eat. The serving size is 1 piece which contains 16g of total sugar, 17g of carbs and 68 calories. The only issue I have with these is that the English paper sleeve says it has no added sugar but the original boxes list sugar as the first ingredient. All I can say is that they do taste like they have a lot of sugar in and on them. These come as a bundle of 2 individually boxed packages, each containing about 16 pieces in a plastic wrapped tray. Mine has a best before date just over 7 months from now. Product of Greece. Overall, I like these a lot. They have a good flavor and a soft texture. Very pleasant to eat. Just beware they are sugary in case you're watching your daily sugar intake. Anyway, a tasty and delightful dessert.

Soft and sweet candies! Not much Mastiha flavor...
These LOUKOUM WITH MASTIHA are soft and sweet gelatin like candies covered with confectioners sugar. They are much like Turkish Delights. These do not have a flavor that I'm used to in traditional Turkish Delights. The flavor is a bit more understated and less exciting. I do not get much, if any, Mastiha flavor, but I do only eat one or two at a time, and my taste buds have been known to be off. Mastiha has a very strong pine-like flavor, and it is said to have many health and healing qualities. Though I will eat these candies and share them with family and friends, the flavor is not my favorite. They are sweet and have a great texture and cure my occasional sweet tooth.

True Greek or Turkish Loukoum with Mastic
This Turkish Delight is flavored with "mastiha" also know as "Mastic." Mastic is the hardened sap harvested from the mastic tree, Pistacia lentiscus (Pistachio relative.) The gum is extracted to an essential oil that has an herbal, piney taste. Like other flavorings from trees, the components are pinene (accounting for the piney flavor) and caryophyllene, which is also a component of cloves. So it has a resinous flavor.Mastic is a very traditional flavoring for confesctinery in the Middle East, Greece and Turkey. It is used in syrups, candies, baked goods to impart that resinous herbal flavor. In loukoum, it soothes the throat and it has supposedly antibacterial properties. If you like piney, woody, herb flavors, you'll like this sweet.

Step Into The Greek Culture!
This Greek Loukoum is a unique confection. It is flavored with Mastiha, a liqueur that made with mastic that comes only from Greece. It has a herbal flavor that is balanced with a vanilla sweetness. It is soft and delectable. It's precut, so there are no worries about cutting it into servings. The Loukoum is coated in powdered sugar for added flavor and sweetness (and so it won't stick to packaging and fingers). This would make a lovely gift to anyone who loves to travel and try items from other cultures. This would make a wonderful hostess gift to take if you are invited to a holiday party! The hostess could open it and share it with everyone. Very nice!

flavorful and soft
I found these to be very soft and sweet candies covered with loads of confectioners sugar. The flavor is mild and I enjoyed them. They arrived in 2 boxes with a good number of these small, bite-sized candies in each.It has an herbal flavor that I enjoyed and a nice aftertaste.A bit messy though, so be sure to have napkin or small plate at hand!

Tasty dessert
This came well packaged, in bite-size pieces. The taste felt like marmalade, though the flavor reminded me of sweet carrots. It left a pleasant aftertaste.

Pleasant Tasting Candy That Would Make a Nice Gift
This is a nicely packaged candy box that features very sweet pre-cut candies that are pleasant tasting. While these are sweet like American candies, their flavor is more subtle and will probably go better with tea or coffee. One piece is enough to satisfy my sweet cravings. This would also make a very nice host/hostess gift or a stocking stuffer.
