HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB C Hub for iPad with Media Controls, HDMI, USB-C 60W Power Delivery, USB-A Ports, MicroSD/SD Card Reader, 3.5mm Audio Jack

If using an iPad and wanting to use it for working, this hyperdrive is great!! All the extra ports one needs. The only issue, having nothing to do with the product, is this: if you have your iPad on a folio, you need to wiggle the attachment in behind it on the backside. If you have the Magic Keyboard, though, this separates the connectors and the options do not work because of that. Well worth having!!

I regularly use this hub to plug a headphone wire in so I can use a song charting app with a metronome to provide a click track to our band every Sunday morning at church. Additionally, I use the MicroSD card reader to pull imagery off my drone in the field. I consider it an essential piece of kit for my iPad.

I use this on my iPads, Samsung Tablets and my Samsung Ultra S22, great for all of them. Makes photo/video editing a breeze as it accepts SD and Micro SD cards, Samsung DEX/Apple Stage Manager work great as well.

Fits my ipad pro 11" perfectly. The media buttons are what really sold me on it to be honest. Super convenient for when having Spotify on in the background

This product seems to do what is advertised. My concern is that the unit gets hot to touch when in use. This effect seems to be associated with using the USB-C port. I'm not sure if this is normal or a defective unit. I also wonder if the lesser cost version ($79) w/o buttons gets hot the same way. In view of this issue, I'm not convinced it is worth $100. The concept is useful but the build quality is questionable.

When connected it got hot, i copied a file of 2GB to an sd card and took 28 minuts (let see when i copy a 30GB work project ). I think that 99 dollars plus taxes for this product It's not fair at all.UPDATE: 06/19/2023 I get in contact with the new company that owns hyperdrive now The name is Targus and they has been playing with me over a month saying that it will take 48 to 72 hours EACH TIME I CALL to solve my problem but in reality they don’t care about the customer so my advise is DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT IT GETS INSANE HOT AND NO ONE WILL HELP YOU WITH THAT.UPDATE: TODAY IS NOVEMBER 2nd 2023 ,I’M STILL WAITING FOR AN ANSWER FROM THIS BRAND. 140+ WAITING FOR THESE MEDIOCRE COMPANY TO FIX THE HAZARD ISSUE THAT I HAVE WITH THEIR PRODUCT… I’LL KEEP FOREVER WRITING UPDATES FOR THIS COMAPNY THAT WAS HYPERDRIVE AND NOW IS TARGUS. THE SAFEST THING I CAN SAY IS. ¡¡¡¡DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT!!!! THEY JUST HUNG UP THE CALL IN YOUR FACE.
