I used other peeling solutions before. This one stings. I imagine it gets the job done, but I wouldn't want to use it more than once a week. Feels intense and overkill for me. Maybe it's better for people with less sensitive skin!

This was recommended by my dermatologist. I didn't use it as faithfully as he instructed when I first got it but then realized he was right. I've been using it as directed and have noticed positive changes. I put it on after showering while I style my hair. No muss. No fuss. It makes a difference.

I was a bit worried about the size of the bottle, because $65 is a heafty penny for 2 oz.. After using it for a few months now I can say that this will probably last me a full year or longer. You only need about a dime size amount for the whole face, and you'll only need to use it once or twice a week max! I think if the bottle was any larger it would expire before I finished it!As for the results, I found that it instantly brightened up my skin and with long term use I really do see my dark spots fading. The 10.8% glycolic acid was a little intimidating as someone with sensitive skin, and a lot of similar strength peels I react poorly to, but this one seemed super gentle and didn't irritate my skin at all as long as I gave it a few days break between uses. Out of all the competition and new product launches out there, Glytone remains the champ of AHAs in my book. They do it better than anyone.

I purchased this product from Amazon since it was about half the price as the one at the dermatologist's office. The strength is too weak to be of any real benefit. For me, it's better just to perform a chemical peel every month. I use a 10% glycolic acid cream at night.

Fantastic! I've had acne since I was in 4th grade. I went to a dermatologist finally, and she said to get this. Basically if your skin doesn't grow and she'd skin cells fast mough it causes build up which causes acne. And she was right! Now, how to use:Get yourself some cetaphil soap, it's antibacterial and will NOT dry you out! Wash your face.Week one: at night, wsh your face with cetuohil, dry it. Then use about a raindrops worth of gkytone and spread over your face, you just need it to cover it, don't rub it in,don't try and make it thicken and stay, it's supposed to dry in a thin layer! Just make sure it gets your whole face(not eyes or lips obviously!) Let this sit on your face for ten minutes, then wash off with water. The water cancels out the acid in the glytone. You should immediately feel smoother!Week two, same steps, but increase to 20 minutes.You should start seeing results by this time.Week three, increase to thirty minutesEvery week after that do the same stuff at night for thirty minutes. After 8 weeks if you're still having some trouble, try doing it in the morning and at night for thirty minutes each. After a month if you still havent completely cleared up, go see a dermatologist.PS this also helps with acne scars!! Mine have actually lessened a bit. Haven't gone away completely, bit they have lessened in severity!
