Real life lightning effects!

This did exactly what I needed for Halloween. I built a sound track for a dragon that we have on our balcony, and when it roared or the atmospherics in the sound track made (for example) lightning, the strobe kicked in. I could set the sensitivity so it only fired when I wanted. Now of course its a crude way of doing what I wanted, but for the price it was perfect. The remote was Ok but not 100% perfect.

This doesn't perform like a true xenon-style strobe, however, the unit outperforms those cheapie strobe boxes that cost almost as much in the big box stores.Comes w/a short power cord & full-featured remote ( has limited control on the box, too.) It packs a walloping 270 multicolored LEDs! We're talking major league blinding- by-the-light.On the darkside, the unit is housed in flimsy plastic; no protective shield covers those 270 LEDs making its use limited.Again, its best feature is its value. It's definitely an attention getter!
