I use these with the pins to hold lighting equipment
Those these are a little bit expensive, they work really well with the screwdown pins. I generally slide one pin into the slot screw it down and clamp this whole device onto my light stand to hold an 8 pound battery powered strobe.It holds very tightly with no slippage. Very pleased with how they function. A little pricey, when you consider you have to buy other parts, but they are flexible as you can hang J hooks and other things from them.

If you need something like this, these are great.
Bought these to put into a Kupo three way collar. These slide into the collar and screw down so they don't move. But you can remove them if you don't need to attach three devices. Mine are used to hold battery powered moonlights each weighing about 8 pounds. They are sturdy enough to hold the with no issue.
