I carried mine all day at a ren faire and it was hassle-free! I was expecting it to be a little bigger, but it's still large enough to cover a torso. Being smaller actually ended up being a benefit, making it light enough that your arm won't get tired. I opted to paint mine to match my armor motif and it took the paint really well! (Remember to seal your paint before you get it wet!)

Do not buy this shield. The shield comes caked in metal oil, which a small amount is fine, but not where it comes off on the packaging and that you have to use a towel to wipe off everything. The main handle is attached too close to the shield so you can barely fit your hand through. I will have to cut it off to make it work. The handle is also too wide for my hand to fit comfortably to hold. The corners of the handle protrude beyond the shield frame making for two triangular points to be cut/catch on. This is completely ridiculous for this price! Do not buy this shield!

Just needs to be a little thicker I hit it with a hammer and it dented but then I easily fixed it i do however like how light it is and how sharp the edges are

Overall decent shield. A little lax on the cutting of the brass accent pieces...sloppy cuts, etc.

The picture I saw made it look bigger than it really is in person, light weight pairs with the sword quite well but I love it I’d use it for anything as well
