It’s hard to imagine a fish oil that doesn’t have much scent. I keep this refrigerated. I give my Shar Pei two squirts on his two scrambled eggs, cooked in organic coconut oil, daily. I can’t tell you the difference it has made in his scratching. He just doesn’t scratch much at all. The fritos smell is gone too. I’m incredibly glad I took a chance on this product and might buy the other flavor next time but if he is still doing great then I doubt I’ll change.We were taking him to the vet about every 5 weeks bc of yeast. I do put an anti fungal in his ears weekly per the vet’s suggestion.He’s a totally different dog.It’s definitely worth a try. I do think it heals them from the inside out.

I am a biologist, a graduate of MIT, and both my wife and I take this salmon oil every day.It has a very mild flavor and aroma, like salmon lox, but much milder.It is a very cost-effective source of EPA and DHA, two essential omega 3 fatty acids that are good for your cardiovascular system, brain, joints, and so much more.It is vacuum distilled, which eliminates traces of heavy metals and foreign proteins that might cause allergies in sensitive people. This also makes the flavor and aroma very mild. It really is pharmaceutical grade, and doesn't need to be encapsulated to go down easily.It comes in a food grade epoxy coated aluminum bottle, which, like glass, is completely impermeable to oxygen, and unlike glass won't break during rough handling shipping. I like the Iceland pure salmon oil with pure Omega 3 because my 2 dogs' skin are no longer dry and itchy and their coats of hair are shiny. No more scratching and flaky skin. The Bad - the pump is small and not as sturdy as other brands and tends to clog frequently, but their price is better. Have bought some more due to their lower price. I just pour their oil into an old but better pump from a competitor.

highly recommend this product to anyone who has cats. Or dogs. Package arrived without any leakage. The bottle is very durable and is dark green so light does not get into the product. I keep it in the fridge on the door for the money is excellent. I have checked other places, the quality is bad or the price is too high. This is a fair product. There is no taste to this. It did not affect my cats snubbing their nose in whatever I put it in. Easy to use. Follow the directions so that you get the portion correct. Will stay in the fridge for about 3 to 4 months.

Like that it comes in an aluminum container-not plastic!-important for the purity & freshness of the oil. Does not smell. My dog has no issue with it. Have bought several cans of this--I alternate between the salmon & the anchovy/sardine oils.

Highly palatable

The generous dose of this stuff that I add to my cats' food has really helped with their coats, and I assume with their general health as well. It almost completely solved the matted hair problem. Good stuff! And, the lack of strong scent is much appreciated by all.I stopped getting the 33 oz bottle because it tended to go rancid before it's finished. Definitely keep this in the fridge. I use the silicone plug for storage, especially since the pump mechanism gets clogged quickly and also will allow air to get in and oxidize the oil.
