Baritone tuning on a tenor
I decided to repurpose an islander tenor (MT4) that had fluorocarbons on it that I didn't like due to the tension being too high (for me). Put these on last night and mostly got them stretched. Still stretching this morning. These strings have low tension which is what I wanted, beware they probably will buzz when playing hard. The low D string (brown) is a bit dull compared to something wound but that's okay. You won't get a true resonant baritone sound but it's still quite serviceable. Intonation is actually very good up the fretboard.Others on here have been trying to use the brown as a G string which is probably why it's breaking. Don't do that.

They work
They've been on for several days and no issues with tuning to DGBE on my tenor.

Terrible package instructions
So, I got the Aquila New Nylgut AQ-11 strings, DGBE tuning for tenor ukulele, and the package lists the strings thusly... LEGEND: 1=RED / 2=BLUE / 3=GREEN / 4=WHITE. Well...one white string has a red tip and one has a blue tip, but there is no green-tipped string, and no mention of the brown string (see photo). I Googled the string set but could find no instructions. Am I missing something?

Wow! I can't believe I finally found these strings!!! "Lyle Ritz" tuning from "The Jerk"!
I'm using these on one of my three Martin T1K ukuleles. The uke book Jumpin Jim's Jazz Masters Lyle Ritz points out correctly that Lyle used this modification of the Baritone tuning with the re-entrant or hi "D" and previously I resorted to using a combination of two sets of strings to get the tension close etc. This set comes with a wound Low G but it has a coating on it to make it much less squeaky. The intonation is also very nice on my 17" scale 20 fret Martin.

Works for tenor DGBE
Bought this to restring a tenor uku to DGBE tuning. This is the Aquilla U11 product. I didn't under the number/color coded instructions on the back of the package in relation to tuning, so I strung the dark red string for D, blue G, white B, red tipped string E. It worked for me, the tension feels fine. Less windings at the head will decrease the time it takes for the strings to stretch and stay in tune.

Tenor DGBE ukulele strings
I put these strings on my tenor ukulele, tuned them up, and spent a little time playing and adjusting them for a couple of days. I had my ukulele sitting in the corner of my living room and heard a 'snap!' coming from the ukulele. The G string had snapped. I know how to take care of ukuleles and their strings, and there is no reasonable explanation as to why it happened. The G string is a weak brown strand compared to the other three clear strings. I'm very disappointed and don't plan to order a replacement set. This set wasn't worth my money.

Poor quality red string
The dBE (1,2,4) strings were fine. The G (3) string was a different material (red). As I brought it up to tune (not even close to being in tune yet), the string snapped. Poor quality.

Snap consistently : either while playing or while not playing
These strings are overpriced garbage. Although I liked the sound of these strings at first, on the first set the wrapped D snapped three days after being put on while playing normally. On the second set the wrapped D snapped spontaneously overnight for no apparent reason a week after being put on. I have an electronic tuner, so I can assure you they were tuned correctly. You can buy a set of Classical guitar strings (I recommend Orphee NX-35 silver wrapped strings) for about $5 and just use the a ADGB as strings as your DGBE.Do some google and you'll find that you can use the middle 4 strings (ADGB) of any classical guitar set on a baritone to tune to DGBE and you can use the DGBE strings (4th to 1st) of any classical guitar set to tune a soprano/concert/tenor ukulele to GCEA (with low-G)

Not impressed, strings not as pictured.....the dreaded red G instead of the 4 white nylon strings
3 of the strings are great.....that red string snapped before it got to G. They are so inconsistent and I knew it was going to snap during tuning because it was the brown/red colour and those ones are really poor quality. The actual red ones are usually OK, but they don't last. What you have pictured is 4 white strings....that's what I thought I was buying. I'm disappointed as I paid a premium for what I thought were proper Nylgut strings, and the most important one was incorrectly pictured.Do better

Okay
Strings are good except for the red one. I find it doesn’t have a nice sound, I will be replacing that string.

Poor quality on third Red string
I had played only one week, the third string is snapped, very disappointed.I ran into the same problem like the one Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2019"The dBE (1,2,4) strings were fine. The G (3) string was a different material (red). As I brought it up to tune (not even close to being in tune yet), the string snapped. Poor quality."
