Overpriced for travel size!
I like the cream. It is very soothing to my radiation burn. It is also a bit more reasonably priced than others. It is my fault that I didn’t notice the size. I believed I had found a lower price (by 2.00) for the 4 ounce size. When I reordered this week and saw the difference in siz, I realized my mistake and was astonished! As a cancer patient facing soaring medical bills it very disappointing to feel taken advantage of. It’s tough enough that the creams that give any relief are outrageously overpriced. ($15-45 for 4-6 ounce size) That must be applied 3- 4 times daily. I used 1.5 ounce size in 6 days. To have a travel size of 1.5 ounces for 12.99 versus the full size 4 ounce for 14.99 is outrageous and ridiculous. If the product didn’t work as well as it does, and wasn’t in the reasonable price point range, I wouldn’t purchase again. I would expect the travel size to be at least half the price as the regular size.

Definitely moisturizing
I was recently diagnosed with cancer and the medicines have resulted in very dry skin after each treatment. I purchased this cream and since using daily, my skin feels soft and moisturized. I love it!

Very soothing and moisturizing
This is a light but penetrating lotion, not too greasy but very soothing. It can be used on the face or body. There is a very faint minty smell, which disappears quickly after application. I've been using it on my hands, where I have some spots of eczema. It is not irritating, but also not healing to those dry and flaky patches. It's important to me that cosmetics are free of parabens, and this lotion is. Aloe, comfrey and calendula are all very soothing and not likely to cause skin irritation. The cost of this product is a little high, but appropriate for a formula with quality ingredients. It would make a good gift for someone going through treatment. There's nothing exclusively applicable for chemo patients here, and I have seen all of these ingredients in other products. It's almost too bad it is marketed so specifically. This is a great all-purpose moisturizer for hands and body.

Best product ever
This has done wonders for my skin as I go through treatment. I’ve been told my skin looks better than before I got sick. It is very soothing but not at all greasy.

Multi-use cream with 3 month UPDATE!
**** 3 months update ****Wife loves this cream. She feels it has helped her skin heal tremendously and she has super sensitive skin. After her treatments, at first she used Silver Sulfadiazine to start care for the rawness of the skin, she then moved to the Oncology Calendula Cream by PhysAssist and her doctors have commended on how great her skin has benefitted from using it every couple of days. She loves the fresh scent and how the lotion feels on her skin.***************************************************************************************************************My wife is undergoing radiation treatments and has the blistered skin in all shades of dark red and purple. I jump on any chance I can get ointments or creams to help benefit her healing process. The cancer clinic provided a medicated cream already and they indicated using the Oncology Calendula Cream by PhysAssist should be fine and help her skin get back to normal. My wife alternates using the two creams and it seems to be working well for her. This calendula cream feels rich and has a very slight scent which is pleasant. It provides immediate relief to her sensitive areas and is easy to clean with mild soap and water.I suffer from an immune system affecting my skin occasionally that has yet to be correctly diagnosed. When it resurfaced recently, I applied a little of the calendula cream to see if it helps since it has hydrating qualitities. Over a week’s period, my rash did dissipate a little. I like the coolness relief it provided upon contact. The cream is a tad sticky on my skin but as long as it is doing something beneficial, I can put up with it.Both wife and I are hoping this one jar can help with our ongoing skin issues. Time will tell but it seems to be faring well.5 stars!

Helping my mom with CLL
My 89 yr young mom has CLL. She's had a rough time over the past 2 years with it. She had a whole bunch of rounds of chemo pills then infusion chemo. She's a plucky little thing and with the chemo and taking Tumeric with Ginger supliments she is once again in remission. Problem is now her skin is dry as a dessert from chemo. She itches constantly to the point she's scratched herself raw. Mom is a VERY active 89 and doesn't let grass grow under her feet but this itching is driving her nuts. I found this product and she literally cried after we slathered it on the dry itchy spots. For the first time in over a year and a half she doesn't feel like she has poison ivy. It instantly relieved her skin. No more hot dry itchiness. We found once we could get some initial relief for her we could spray some moisturizer spray. It just soaks in. She doesn't have to use this every day and is careful to keep hydrated and not taking blazing hot baths. But when she does...we have the solution. This stuff is magic. It's given my mom and the whole family a sigh of relief. Myself and my whole family hope the best for you if you are suffering. This cream helped my mom and I truly believe it will help you or someone you love.

Lupus Skin Care
Thankfully, I’ve never had to go through chemo, but I know people who have.I wanted to give this lotion a try because I have an autoimmune disease called lupus, and that can cause some pretty severe skin flareups.I was looking for a fragrance free, gentle lotion, and when I saw that this was catered to people going through chemo and radiation, I thought if it can be used for their skin, then it would probably do pretty good for somebody that has lupus.I was correct. The lotion is thick and fragrance free.It goes on silky smooth, absorbs well, and it doesn’t burn my already sensitive skin.I also have eczema and psoriasis and since using I have noticed an improvement. So if you have a very delicate sensitive skin that needs an extra boost of moisturizer, then I highly recommend this lotion.
