Was able to mount an M42 lens on my S5II and S1, with amazing results. This lens also offers the ability to adjust where the image lies on the sensor. If you like the old vintage lenses look, this is definitely the way to go.

I was looking at adapters for my vintage lenses, and there are so many people who recommended the more expensive brands. I wasn't sure how much i would actually use the lenses so I bought this and it works perfectly. So many camera people just like to flush money, assuming more expensive = higher quality. Unless you are buying the ones that can connect the camera electronics, these are a piece of metal. I don't understand someone who wants to spend $50 on a piece of metal that you can get it for $13.

works perfect. aperture adjustment also works which was not to case on my M42-E mount adapter (helios 44-m6 lens)

Does what it’s supposed to do! Also it’s easy to adjust the screw ring to rotate your M42 lens is in the right position for reading the numbers (not necessary but convenient).
