I bought this a long time ago, and had read some glowing reviews about it, and some complaining it was terrible and streaky, and wondered what the difference was. I swatched it and it was indeed streaky, even after multiple coats. I'm pretty sure I was over diluting them. The recommended ratio is 2 parts paint, 1 part water, and I was dropping a brush full of water into the paint like twice, mixing, then using a soaking wet brush on top of that to grab the paint. It was so transparent and streaky, even with multiple coats that I was so disappointed I didn't pick them back up for a number of months. Recently I decided to give them another quick try, and I only used the water that was on the brush to dilute them this time, and they came out perfectly beautiful, opaque and flat. Just saying if you have tried to use this and found it aggravating, maybe try changing the amount of water you're painting with. Hope this helps! 😊

I’m a professional serous painter. I already love Turner acrylic Gouach paints. This box was not only a great price but a luscious box of my favorite coolers snd much more. I can’t wait to dive into this box of paints. My adrenaline is running because I love the viscosity of these paints because my first love was watercolors, 35 years . When I discovered gouache watercolor it changed my world. Now im in super love with the dimensional use of Turner acrylic gouache. Been painting with them for about 10 years.Dont hesitate to dive into this box of color candy for an artist!

No more acrylics for me. This is nothing like acrylics. Unlike acrylics, this paint is smooth. Vibrant. Beautiful colors. Gouache effect, yet does not smear. Washes out easily without ruining the paint brush.Gouache is a bit dull so I'm trying out different finishes to bring out the pizazz in the awesome colors. I'm new to this medium.
