Being an English ex-pat in the USA, I miss some of my old festive traditions. Making a fruit cake and decorating it with cheesy ornaments was always fun when I was younger. Still fun today.This set is of very good quality and will last for years. The ornaments, though plastic, are quite heavy. Bonus, the little house lights up.I removed one star only for the trees. They're probably the most flimsy part of the set and I can see them breaking if not careful. Worst of all though, they will cover your cake in green and white grains of plastic that makes up the coating on the branches.Give them a really good shake before adding to your cake. I'll probably look for some plastic trees for next time, or 3D print some.Apart from that, still happy with the set.

It took a while to get deliver. I wasn’t able to use it for Christmas. But this year I will use it.

I ordered three sets. One house in the village came without a bottom and does not light up. My granddaughter and two of her little friends are coming over on Wednesday to make Christmas villages. Everything else in the sets are great. I just need one house replaced overnight so the girls can have their day.

These figurines are so cute and go great in my home scenery for the holidays.
