works great.. no issue with leaving it attached to a battery for me. Charges usb stuff and makes a great torch. Great way to utilise my stack of bosch batteries for stuff other than DIY.

The light and usb phone charger are useful on this item

When attached to the battery the adaptor doesn’t latch properly but it does work and I would buy another if there was a need .

I’ve never been so unhappy with a product before I’m my life until I purchased this one , I used it a couple time and notice that it has BROKEN TWO of my Bosch 5A batteries , the batteries show no sign of life and do not recharge after being used with this adapter, I would strongly NOT RECOMMEND this item as it has broken 2 of my expensive Bosch batteries, I’m so furious that I cannot explain my anger

Type C port does not work

After ever using needs disconnect otherwise it is flattened battery completely empty. Battery has to be jumped by power source to get charging up. I have similar for dewalt batteries it has no problems if you leave permanently on. Never discharge batteries. Unfortunately this is only one issue with this Bosch adapter

The adapter is a great idea however, poorly fitting and neither usb port works. The lamp does, but without usb ports it's not for for purpose.Don't waste your money
