Received in different packaging than shown
It appears to be the same figure but the packaging is different than the one shown. I've seen this figure selling at Gamestop for $30 so I was happy to pay half the price to get it for my son who loves Sonic, but if you're a collector who keeps them in the packaging, it's different than shown and different than the packaging the characters are in when you buy them in the store. It's good enough for what I needed it for though.

A pretty decent Buzz Bomber figure
Getting this out of the way first before I even talk about the figure itself, this figure's MSRP is $5. It's apparently rather uncommon, so it's being sold here on Amazon for around double that or even more at the time of writing this review. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it at that price. Either pick this figure up at Target, wait for the price to drop, or wait for Jakks Pacific to re-release it in a future wave of figures.Continuing Jakks Pacific's trend of releasing figures of Badniks from the Sonic series, this time we have Buzz Bomber. The sculpt is based directly on the appearance of the Buzz Bombers from Sonic Lost World, right down to even being posed exactly like its artwork from that game. Overall it's a character that I appreciate having a figure of, as adding more robots to a Sonic display can make for some awesome scenes, but I have a couple of complaints. While the sculpt is perfectly accurate, for whatever reason they've chosen to make the character's eyes *significantly* larger than they are actually supposed to be, which makes the look on its face seem a bit creepy, frankly. Secondly, it has no neck articulation whatsoever, meaning that, because it's based on very specific artwork, its head is always tilted in a bit of a strange direction. As well, I find the choice to base this figure off of the Lost World design of the character to be an odd decision in the first place. We already have a Motobug figure (another Badnik robot) that was based on the character's "modern" appearance. This Buzz Bomber is in a bit of a weird place relative to that, where Lost World was a "modern" Sonic game, but the Badniks in it were sort of re-designed "classic" style Badniks... This trend becomes even weirder in a future wave of figures, where we see the Crabmeat Badnik having mashed its Lost World and Classic styles together to make for a particularly inaccurate figure, but I digress. I would've personally preferred that this figure be either strictly Modern style like the previously released Motobug, or fully classic-styled, rather than based on its Lost World appearance. But my own personal grievances aside, even as a figure based on that specific appearance of the Buzz Bomber, it still has the aforementioned inaccuracies and the strange lack of neck articulation, which is rather disappointing. It still does a good job filling out a Sonic display with more robots for the heroes to bop, but it's not as totally perfect as their Motobug figure was.Despite my complaints, as a toy to be played with, or for filling out a Sonic display, I would still certainly recommend picking it up if you're interested. It's just a $5 figure, after all. It's only when you get down into the details of the figure that I am dissatisfied with it as a collector. If you can find it for its original price, it's perfectly fine.

Great figure!
Figure came in perfect condition! it has a great sculpt and is perfect for any collector. only negatives are articulation is lacking with no head swivel, it is 3 times the original price (originally being $5 retail) and the box came opened due to poor packaging. Overall not disappointed and definitely recommend.

Still a decent price if you can’t find them in stores!
Some things to note are that its wings and jets can move, as well as it’s waist. It also comes with a clear plastic stand to help display it that will work with other Jakks Pacific Sonic figure accesories.
