I'll was very excited about it ☺️. Review: Nope. - This thing looks and feels like a cheap POS. Because it is. It’s a bad joke to call this mystery metal stainless steel and it’s very evident that it’s not the moment you handle this light-as-air band. I own thin acrylic bangles that are heavier than this swill. The clasp is poorly constructed and lacks the appropriate tightness for a secure closure. That right there is all the reason you need to buy something else – you can’t wear this unless you modify it to secure the clasp. The coating is shoddy at best and begins chipping immediately, and the gold tone isn’t the lovely champagne gold the pictures show – it’s matte metallic beige and clashes horribly with the gold toned fitbit. You will, with a 100% guarantee, be disappointed with this purchase.

Poor Quality
I have to admit I’m disappointed. This is definitely not stainless steel. It was very easy to install and looked great, but for less than a day. After only a few hours, the black was rubbing off to reveal a brassy metal underneath. Less than a week later, it’s coming apart and keeps falling off.

Pretty silver coating wears off Quickly
It's a fairly sturdy metal band. The links aren't hard to remove. The clasp work ok; sometimes it unclasps itself and falls off. I bought the silver one which looked very nice at first. Six months of wearing it and it's entirely pink/coppery and dark matte gray. It hasn't broken, but it looks terrible.

Pretty good, but may have some manufacturing issues
Seems sturdy and comfortable to wear, and it comes with an additional link and instructions for adjusting the size to your wrist. I’ve already gotten compliments on it in just the few days I’ve had it. My only issue was that I had to sand down one of the ends that connects to the actual device in order for it to latch properly, but once that was done it works well.

Gold band turns my fitbit into a dressy watch
I have multiple bands for my fitbit Luxe, to color coordinate. I got this gold band to use when going out, when I wanted a dressier watch. I use the analog watch face for my Luxe, and this makes it look like a dress watch. I had very little challenge figuring out how to remove the right amount of links, with the tool and the directions that came with the band. I did not expect that, I thought I would have to go to a jeweler, but I was able to do it myself. It took me less than 10 minutes. The band doesn't feel like a heavy gold band, but it does have that look. So I'm happy with it. I just want to add that I see many reviews for fitbit bands that complain about the band coming off during wear. When switching bands, the new one should click into place. If you don't hear the click, it's not fully seated. Then I hold the fitbit and move the band back and forth to stress-test it and make sure it's securely attached. Once I got the hang of attaching them, I have not had any issues with any of my after-market fitbit bands.

Clasp kept opening!
The clasp was so loose I almost lost the watch several times. After less than a month the gold color started flaking off and it looked terrible. Needless to say I replaced it with another style of band. This is the first time I’ve had this happen with a fancy Fitbit band! It looked nice at first…..
