This is a great board but arrived broken! Pretty disappointed in the packaging but the return process is a hassle so I guess I will keep a broken product.

This works really nice. I think that if it would close up and hinge the other direction so it was easier to close up the pieces it would be better. It has a nice amount of magnets and it's secure, but easy to move.

I need to replace a smaller travel chess set that I accidentally left somewhere. When I ordered this I thought it was the same size as the lost one because they looked the same in the product photo. When I got this I was pleasantly surprised that it's about a 30% bigger than my old one... but at the same price! The two sets are identical in every way except for the size. This is board is much easier to play because the pieces are larger but it no less convenient than the smaller version. The only drag is that this one got a little beaten up in the mail - the board is a little bent and the plastic is a little cracked near the hinge so when the board's opened it's a little uneven where the two sides come together. It doesn't affect the board's playability, it just looks a little dodgy. If the package was more than a thin cardboard sleeve this probably wouldn't have happened, but then the price would have been higher so I'll take the little cracked plastic.
