HOT IN CLEVELAND: THE COMPLETE SERIES

I started watching this show as a filler. Over time it developed into a Golden Girls for the new millennium. I'll admit it's not the finest sitcom ever made but actually it does the stereotypical stuff really well. Anyone who has watched a lot of sitcoms can see the plots coming, but they are executed well and with care and good comedy acting. The added bonus is that they have a cavalcade of guest stars from other comedy shows and showbiz in general.If you just want to relax and enjoy something fun but unchallenging, you could do a lot worse than Hot in Cleveland

Unfortunately, this is a Region 1 dvd that my LG DP542H (region-free) player couldn't read, so I had to return it. Pity, as I really enjoyed the first two series (which I already have on region 2 discs). I hope they will release the other series in region 2 one day (or a region 1 code that older machines can understand) so I can finish watching it.
