This is semistitched. The skirt needs to be sewed together at one edge. You do have to add your own elastic/tie at the waist.The shirt material is provided but completely unstitched. I needed a top that would dress it up a notch for a wedding reception so instead of black I went with with a good sequin top also found on Amazon. I altered the top myself the night before for better fitting.The duppatta. Due to wedding chaos, for reasons unknown to me, I forgot a duppatta came with it which I think would have pulled it together better. I did get one thst pulled more of a orange gold tone from the skirt and it was fine. Next time will use the OG one it came with.I didn't want to wear something traditional and this was perfect for what I was going for. My mom thinks it made me look fat and wasnt happy about, which really added to the charm imho....I think I wore it like a boss.Great outfit for an event, if you are not pressed for time I'm sure the stitched shirt is a great option. I loved the look and glad it wasn't a typical lengha.

The material is beautiful however, it was missing the shawl that was supposed to go with it. I bought this outfit for a wedding that I am attending and now I have to figure out something else on short notice because this order was missing pieces.

Didn’t like the material

You have to sew the side of the skirt closed but that part is easy enough. My mom did it in half an hour since she’s experienced :) and you have to get either elastic or a drawstring for the waist. Easy enough. The blouse isn’t ideal, honestly I probably won’t use the blouse piece. BUT I had purchased a blouse-like crop top from Amazon previously for $15-20 and wore that with the skirt and dupatta and it was SO COMFORTABLE and I wanted to wear it every day! The skirt material was so soft and light- perfect if you want to dance at a fun Indian event. I wore it for a wedding, and yes I was a tiny bit underdressed but I danced more comfortably than anyone else there!

I read the reviews and knew before hand that I would have to do some sewing which was fine. What I didn’t expect was a piece of black cloth that I was supposed to figure out how to cut to make the blouse. I definitely don’t recommend unless you have cutting and sewing skills.

It comes with some black fabric and you supposed to sew and make your own top but I bought my top separately because I didn’t know how to do it. The skirt also comes semi stitched but It was easy to hand sew. Basically I just put the sides together and sewed it from inside and folded the waist and sewed it and passed a ribbon through the waist so I could make it tight to my size.Definitely it’s not a ready to wear outfit but easy to make it ready

itsm was jot stitched, i returned the parcel on january 28th and have not yet received my refund
